nothing really happens except for introduction and getting to know the charecters till the last 1/4 of book one.
So probably it will get intresting around the 7th or 8th episode of the first season(10 episodes

Wait, what?
Two direwolf attacks, a bunch of beheadings, an assassin attacking an elderly woman and many many boobs....
What did you expect to happen in the first two episodes of a series based on books?

??? I only remember seeing two pairs of boobs ? The hooker with the dwarf and the blonde who's married to the Genghis khan like dude. How is that many, many, many boobs ?
Episode 1 was great and set things up nicely, episode 2 was a bit boring and very dry... I hope things start to pick up a bit faster in the next episode.

Also, I am quite happy this show doesn't have more nudity/sex than it already does. It's.. enough, imo.

Some people just won't like the show... I think many people do appreciate the chance for some character development that the 2nd episode delivered. Some fans wish they would slow down even more. That being said the critics got preview versions of the first 6 episodes, and many felt #2 was the weakest and 5 and 6 were the best of the six they have seen.
I personally enjoyed #2 though, so to say "nothing" happened means either you didn't pay attention or your definition of "nothing" is very different from mine. It's more of a cold war/spy thriller and character drama than an action movie, especially in season 1.

I also don't get this...
The nudity in this show never seemed forced to me (unlike in Spartacus :p) and the scenes actually made sense... I really don't see where there are many boobs in this show... I think it's just some people being not used to actually see any nudity in a TV which mages them overexagerating the little bit they get so see here...
If i would be concerned about anything in this show, it would be the brutality.

Thought this was worth sharing. Website devoted to letting you know just who is referenced in the show. Having read the books I know what's going on, but I watch with people who haven't and spend half of each episode explaining what's happening and who to. Hopefully this helps the people who haven't read the books (also, to the people this applies to: go read the books! They're awesome!).

Dany looks so young compared to the image that I had in my head, she is like a 12 year old with boobs.. Ah well, maybe it's just because i remember the last few books more than the first few..

I think Robb is handsome enough, but I seriously agree with you about Theon. The man is ironborn! He should look like a total G.
Also, who else can't frickin wait for Tommy Carcetti to show up?!

Theon isn't exactly ironborn material in book 1, though. He's been fostered to the Starks for 10 years and has even taken up their manner of dress.

The guy is descended from the Grey King. In my mind I pictured him with a powerful, cruel face

Really? I must have missed that, she acts so mature/cold later on, sorry! Same with Arya to be honest, I always thought she was 14 and Sansa was 17, I just ignore what an author has to say apparently..

I think you should better put that in spoilers. Because some people might think your sentence spoilers something.
In addition, we shouldn't talk about anything but book 1 in this thread.

Please remember to be really careful of any spoilers in the upcoming books/chapters. Even implying someone's still around later is a spoiler, Skilledbob, as then people know that person cannot die despite any seemingly dangerous situation they're in, etc.
