Some of those distances travelled are definitely done by "falloutesque" fast travel in the show. Its a term. He linked to a movie of the same name as a joke. The butterfly effect literally means "you do one thing, it affects another". Born from the myth that a butterfly flapping its wings in one place can cause a whirlwind on the other side of the world.

Born from the myth that a butterfly flapping its wings in one place can cause a whirlwind on the other side of the world. Just a confusing way of doing it then. I get the chaos theoretical concept that changing the initial conditions of some systems even a tiny bit can drastically alter the outcome. Just specifically linking the movie that threw me off.

This is great. For the lazy/inattentive: Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khalessi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons I'd Like to Fuck. Got me to thinking and I started looking up other royal titles. The most entertaining I have so far is the King of Spain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_titles_and_honours_of_Juan_Carlos_I_of_Spain Highlights include claims to: Two Sicilies (to Italy... everything south of Naples including Sicily) Jerusalem (to Israel) Sardinia (to France) Corsica (to Italy) Algarve (to Portugal) Gibraltar (to U.K.) East Indies (various sovereign) West Indies (various mostly sovereign) The Islands and Mainland of the Ocean Sea (as best as I can tell, this means the American continent.) Monarchy is cool/wacky.

After another rewatch I was thinking - for all this freeing of slaves Dany wants to do and treating the Unsullied 'right', she sure is traveling extravagantly. Who is the poor soul who thought he was joining her army on his own volition and is forced to help carry the couch she lounged on last episode or the platform (with steps) it was placed on? If people are willing to do it for the Pope, why wouldn't some do it for a gorgeous young Queen

"ok Khalessi, i will free 200k slaves, with enough food and position that they can carry. And in a few weeks you'll command 200k corpses. you cannot provide for them i feel the easiest way to defeat you is to agree with your terms. we are a generous people. we'll give you all the men in our ownership. with food/supplies to make your journey across the seas. if you conquer the iron throne you can have the remaining slaves from yunkai since you can then provide for them. in return for (some harbor friendly region in westeros they can trade with)." win win

I think I just enjoyed them a lot more than previous episodes so they flew by in what felt like half an hour.

When Jaime jumped in it was like, ok he has 1 hand and no weapon...i wonder what could possibly happen...oh the guy above shoots the bear with his bow.. That was exactly what I expected to happen, so there was no excitement for me. The only time I got major chills this season was when Daenerys took control of the slave army. Much more chills in season 1-2 for me, just looking at their respective episodes 1-7.
