Maybe they don't kill cowards/helpless/not aggressive people? Maybe they don't want a fat weak zombie in their ranks?

He killed the entire army with his bare hands. The one that attacks him in the beginning of season 3 was the lone survivor.

His fat hands have so much blubber that he is immune to the cold, much like how Daenarys is immune to fire.

The results are mildly overwhelming. Mods, what do you say to changing the note/banning policy to require spoiler tags for speculation about future show revelations? It's a simple way to help protect people who want to avoid spoilers from those who know more than they claim.

Whatever, 16 or 19 makes little difference to me. Either way she is too young.
I am pretty sue that the character was supposed to be 18 years old at the start of the show. They had to age some of the children because of the sex scenes etc.

I think any female that is physically mature (i.e. got her boobs etc.) is old enough. Minimum age in Sweden is 15 iirc ; )

They can't depict underage people having sex. Her character began the show at 18. (Internet is implying it might be 17, but the reason for the age is the same).

On May 19 2013 04:49 frogrubdown wrote: They can't depict underage people having sex. Her character began the show at 18. Well, it is HBO, and they have shown movies which included underage sex in the past. That being said, there is no way they'd greenlight something like that with a series meant for the mainstream like GoT.

Yeah, GRRM said in an interview that he had to make everyone older (and literally everyone as a result of The Butterfly Effect). It was going to be impossible to adapt the books to the screen 'cause of that. REally goes to show he had no intention of ever adapting them when he started writing them haha.

What happened with the butterfly effect? Was there supposed to underage sex scenes in that? I'm also not convinced a season is the same as a year. Some of those distances travelled are definitely done by "falloutesque" fast travel in the show.

In an interview, he alluded to the fact that his writing was heavily influenced by ideas for shows that never took flight; in the context of the power of novels and the fact that well-written words can create a world that requires none of the budget of a TV show.
