He is fat slow weak cowardly and can't even handle simple tasks. If I were there I'd just wait for good moment and kill him myself and then claim white walkers probably got him. You are kidding right? Kill Sam and your number of people that can read, write and tend to ravens come down to one really old man that is blind. Not everyone in Night Watch are warriors and not everyone needs to be.

The only thing setting the two sides apart is Robb, but just like with the allies and the nazis, the victor is the one that writes the history. I fixed it for you. Sorry, but it is a big difference. I doubt Robb ordered that or would approve.

Even if he didn´t, it shows that the MEN are all equally bad. The only thing setting the sides apart again is Robb who seems rather honorable. The rest? I have my doubts Robbs bannermen are any better then any Lannister bannermen and i think this was the whole point of the scene, to show that there is no "good" or "evil" but just equal doses of good and bad deeds.

Mountain gets an order from Tywin to raze riverlands. He captures and tortures civilians (as was shown in s2), he murders prisoners of war (harrenhall s3) Some Bolton men torture and maim an escaped prisoner that murdered his own cousin and escaped captivity and you say, well they are all the same LOL

Seems his house just likes torturing - he even took it as his sigil. Not as bad as the Mountain, who goes after civilians, but they're not winning any morality medals either.

That is why it is important to not judge all Stark soldiers like they are Boltons.
