I'm looking for a new book, and I love the show but you guys make the books sound much better. Now I want to read them. But in a little cautious as to how much I've already seen and just buy the second book and wait for the end of the season... | ||

So we are getting pretty close. I'd definetely say buy the 1st book though, it's so detailed, and it really helps you appreciate the series. Remember, season 2 won't be out for a while. | ||

The book is much better in my opinion (not a big fan of TV or Movies in general though, so take that with a grain of salt). The problem with the show is that you don't really get any of the internal dialogue, which I think is pretty important- I wouldn't have understood some of what was going on in the show had I not read the book to be honest. Books aren't too expensive, so I would just say go ahead and get it. It will probably be really hard to follow the second book with just having watched the show anyhow. | ||

I try to read about 20 books a year and this series just blew me away. -deep chars -unexpected events -badasses -a story line that makes sense A storm of swords (book3) 700 pages of viagra. or in internet words DO EEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTT | ||

I have the first 3 books in kindle format, I like it because I can read em on my phone | ||
