In optimal conditions you wont feel a thing. Pretty sure Jon wont be staying at the wall. No one wants him as his commander so they agree that he is released of his oath, since he died once. Would it be too cute if he became the leader of the wildlings somehow and recaptures winterfell with them hmm... Tormund+Jon would be a nice combo for a whole season but maybe too cheesy. At some point in the series I bet we will see Jon asking Dany to sacrifice Drogon for swords ^^.

+ Show Spoiler + Basically he's dead for sure. He isn't coming back, at least in season 6, maybe he becomes a White Walkers or he comes back as a wright in season 7. But ya, he definitely just died and he isn't with the production team anymore, he had a giant going off and everything with them sadly.

Like at the end here: "I see a darkness in you, and in that darkness, eyes staring back at me, brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes... Eyes you'll shut forever". I am convinced she has a greater plan, and I'm starting to agree with the fact that the Stannis plot was never about Stannis, it was always about the Red Woman.

Probably was just 30 mins of killing everyone. Stannis would have led the charge, it looks like the battle lasted a few hours and they got pushed back or retreated to the forest. Boltons could have just stayed inside Winterfell while stannis starved since they had no siege weapons, and were not winter ready, that or parry them all the way to winterfell delaying them even further to die in the snow. But its game of thrones so we better show 15 minutes with cersei and 15 seconds with the boltons vs effing barratheans.

I feel the further the show progresses, the more violence is replacing better storytelling. Holy fuck, so much violence. Anyway it is a good show with a big budget. Very enjoyable, but I don't know... to me it is just not truly a great show.

Two 'Murican characters randomly team up to travel to Dorne with no supplies, inside contacts, or knowledge of the area, to improvise a "rescue operation" on the fly. The kind of operation that ignores any resultant political repercussions, like jeopardising the objective of the arranged marriage, and potentially starting a war. But it's all good; the are 'Murican. They will wing it, and do it with style, attitude, and humour. But it's okay; I can accept the terrible premise and execution if something interesting comes out of it. Nope! Ellaria gets a slap on the wrist, Jaime gets a mild scolding, and Bronn wonders whether he got lost on a sitcom set. Everyone forgives each other, the ties of friendship are now stronger, it was all a big misunderstanding. Cue laugh track, still frame, roll credits. Well... next season I hope we don't get another story about two cool, sunglasses-wearing 'Muricans off on an adventure to rescue a damsel in distress from a bunch of brown skinned savages that don't speak 'Murican. Because you know... I think we've had enough of that, thank you. Next season we enter truly uncharted territory. No books to act as a guide.

Very enjoyable, but I don't know... to me it is just not truly a great show. Agreed, so many people died or almost died I felt like I hardly had time to even absorb it all. Also, unlike past seasons, I'm totally fine with no more Game of Thrones for a while now. Usually at the end of a season I'm hungry for more but not this time at all. Maybe it had something to do with all the death and how little there is really open ended at the moment. A couple interesting things were left hanging but nothing that has me on a real cliffhanger.

What bothers me is that Alliser Thorne has been shown as a calculative man who plays to his strengths. I don't understand how he put himself at such risk, and, even more importantly, why he let Jon through the gates in the first place. I just don't find such suicidal behavior from him believable, thus, there's a rather bad aftertaste to the season finale.

I can find the link if people want but he kinda lets the bag out on his death sadly so there's not really any mystery anymore. + Show Spoiler + Basically he's dead for sure.
