Stannis obviously knew sacrificing Shereen wasn't going to fly with him, that's why he was sent away on business.

They emphasized it because Mormont had just won her over. He is 100% pardoned now and they needed to hold hands to celebrate. Still, I don't see Jorah getting any of that, with or without grey scale. She is into dragons though.. But yeah, this was perhaps the worst episode ever. They ran out of money while making the huge battle of the previous episode (that no one really gave a crap about), and thus had no money left for decent dragon CGI.

Did she even touch his direct skin though at the wrist? I though she just touched his hand or clothing or w/e. We don't really know that touching any part of someone's skin is enough to infect someone or if they have to touch the exact part that's affected.

Her riding it was a little meh itself but who cares, it lasted all of like 20sec. And it was by far from the worst episode ever. I know we've said that about at least 5 episodes before lol. The wide shot of the arena with Drogon toasting harpies looked fucking awesome. Drogon himself looked great too. And I don't think it has ever been established that touching someone with greyscale with transmit it for sure - only with the completely covered stone men that seems to be the case. Most likely touching the infected area might transmit the disease, but not even that is certain. Might just be that it takes a while for the disease to take over the host and become contagious. Also, to the harpies: So far they were backalley assassins, they clearly didn't anticipate fighting unsullied and a fucking dragon out in the open of the arena pit.

The CGI indeed was a little off in the shot picturing Dany riding off on Drogon, but for the rest of the arena scene it was fine. Expecting the show to display the sand turning to glass is just intense nitpicking. The fire looked fine too. Really it was just the shot of Dany riding, and I think it's largely due to how they made Drogon's back. That's not a back you can ride at all. They'll have to rethink that in the future, methinks.

Was anyone actually afraid dany, tyrion or jorah would die? It takes all the tension away. I did for a few seconds think the harpies would just kill khaleesi and the dragon when they were chugging spears. Like it was perfect timing for the 'shocking death right before the end credits'. But yeah Jamie is basically stuck in disney story

Im also wondering if dragons should wear armor like in the eragon series casue those spears make it look much weaker than i thought

I disagree. That back perfectly explains why the Iron Throne looks(and feels while sitting there) the way it does ![]()
