Kind of suprised littlefinger isn't dead yet given how many risks he takes. In any case, Briene could get littlefinger into a load of trouble if she rescues Sansa. That's just going to mess up his plan big time. Im hoping that happens, i can't tolerate that humorless character Briene. She's such a bore. And she thinks people dont like her because shes ugly. Well i would find her attractive if she wasn't so servile to tyrants and she had anything interesting, funny or witty to say. Instead she fanatically devotes herself to a tyrannical political institution. And i can't tolerate littlefinger for getting so lucky. He will die soon if he stops getting so lucky. edit: The great thing about this show is it realistically demonstrates how dumb the political system of monarchy is. Unlike other fantasy series in books/tv, ect. This one actually shows what tyranny is. A single tyrant getting emotional over something and making the entire population of the world suffer over it, quite realistic. | ||

I think it also wasn't at the end of an episode, if I remember correctly. I think any series should think long and hard about using a rape scene as a stinger/cliff hanger. Its just a weird place to leave your audience. We also knew what was going to happen to Daenarys and that the scene would make her stronger and more powerful over time. That isn't present in this scene. I don't disagree with the inclusion of the scene, but I wouldn't' have used it as the end of an episode. | ||

Littlefinger is alive because he is very careful about who he takes risks against. The only time he was in a position of risk was when he killed Lyssa and that was because it was an impulsive move he had to make up on the spot to save Sansa. And now he takes a risk with Cersei because he knows her power is failing fast. He questioned her about Loras before making his promise, he realizes she is going to destroy herself with this latest move and so is free to take risks against her. | ||

The Lannister days are counting down, which is probably why Littlefinger is looking towards Stannis. And yes I agree Littlefinger is the greatest player. Tyrion is the only one I would see close to him but Littlefinger is much more ruthless. | ||

Setting up Brienne being jealous seems kind of cruel, but right in line with the series. How it could happen: + Show Spoiler + Brienne and Podrick bang, but they have that awkward one night stand moment in the morning and don't talk about it. Then they go to save Sansa and Podrick ends up doing something heroic (possibly accidentally or coincidentally) to save Sansa, she gets all adrenaline horny and wants to bang Podrick but circumstances don't permit. Brienne notices and feels a familiar jealousy and rages indirectly or randomly. Then it's a love triangle of sorts where Podrick wants Sansa, Brienne is jealous and isn't sure if that means she wants Podrick, and Sansa is torn between pursuing Podrick and her heart or Marrying some high-borne she ends up being pushed towards to secure the kingdom. Then Podrick dies in some shitty way because it's GOT. | ||
