I much prefer The Consult in Prince of Nothing series to what at least the tv show GoT has done with impending doom. I actually sort of hoped during the burning scene the Walkers warning horn would sound off and all rules would change, but instead its back to Game of Thrones. Will we even see 2+ scenes with the Walkers this season? Despite all the complaints I will continue to watch, I love Jon Snows overall arc so far and the end of episode 4 was another good step. Brienne and Gandry? Have had some great moments and I like the slower pace of this season. The production of the show is insane. if that happened GoT was probably finished on season 3. GoT is not just about ice zombies and dragons. I think most people are hooked because of the politics and unexpected twists in the series | ||

Because with traveling from slave city to city she is just doing the same thing over and over again. And it really shows how much her character has developed just looking from her first arrival in slaver's bay to where she is now. The dillema of punishing her own men for a crime she cannot really frown upon was brilliant. The fact the unsullied wasn't put to the same sort of trial because he confessed, and the tight spot he put dany in because of doing that. Even her goal of Westeros has become distant now she has taken it upon herself to liberate all the slaves. But in the end, this is all just a warm up for the wars yet to come in Westeros. Dany's scene's may not be as exciting as Jon, and her development may not be as staggering as that of Jaime, but it is very subtle and realistic. | ||

All the other plot lines are meeting and influencing each other, you care about what happens to any individual because it affects all the other lines. Any individual dying, or getting a boost somehow will have repercussions on all the other players there. Meanwhile Dany is just so disconnected, she could have all the dragons line dancing, or be killed, and it wouldn't change anything. And on top of that, she has a huge invinceble army which means she can make almost as many bad deicsions as she wants, with the only consequence being her becoming even more angsty, yet we still get 30%+ of each episode dedicated to her losing at simcity. Hopefully it gets more interesting when other characters arrive The other Lines though Ninja Arya Hype! Bronn Hype! Pod Hype! | ||

She'll probably learn for a while, then get kicked out/leave because she can't let go of her need for vengeance, and master yoda won't train someone constrained by somethign so basic. Hahaha, this is so much me. "Surely someone will intervene to stop them from cutting of Ned's head..... *thud*.... well okay then". I think for me personally that was the defining moment when I realized this story does not care about whether a character is seen as a "main character". It also enlightened me that I should expect anything and everything at any given time. However, I did not see the Red Wedding coming nor Oberyn's death even though I should have been trained well during the previous seasons. For me the last few seasons have been a rollercoaster ride between highly excited for a really played character and killing off of said character. I hate that I love that but I admit it keeps the tension and the motivation for me to come back every week and watch it - with my plush penguin - just in case something horrible happens and I need to squeeze something very quickly. Backup plans must be made. | ||

Daenerys listened to what he had to say, he admitted the crime, so she sentenced him to death. You could argue that she should have shown mercy, but it wasn't without a trial. | ||

She is judge, jury, and executioner unless she wants to appoint a panel of judges like what was used for Tyrion's trial. The man confessed, she heard what he had to say, and sentenced him to death. I do not see a conflict in her application of the law. Whether or not she should have shown mercy is another question entirely. Robb Stark also followed the law without any interpretation or mercy...but only when it applied to people who weren't his immediate family. At least Dany is consistent (so far). | ||
