But with a time skip, things would get harder to follow.

I really doubt a timeskip will happen. The series basically does one year per season. Seeing how Tywin died, Tyrion and Varys left King's Landing on a boat and Stannis just arrived at the wall... It's a time of chaos. The most interesting time for stories. No way they are going to skip any of that.

Its more than one season pr year. We don't even know how long a year is in westeros. Arya was 10 when she started the series and is 11 in season 4 if I remember correctly. This is why Bran's story is so weird, because the actor grew a lot quicker than his character was suppose to do.
But I agree. There probably wont be a timeskip. Just wouldn't be right in this story.

Or how the hell they would know, or why they would even use the concept of "years." Maybe "year" is just a translation of the westerosi, and they reckon time actually in hundreds of days or something of the sort.

I'm pretty sure Game of Thrones uses years as well. They just don't have a winter per year, but rather have multiple year spanning winters and summers. The starks talk about a 9 year spanning summer for example, some children are called "summer child" for that reason as well.
Take Daenerys storyline. In the first season she gets pregnant and gives birth(due to magic it was a miscarriage, but whatever), so the first season at least took 9 months. Also she crosses the eastern continent at footspeed. She reaches Vaes Dothrak, makes her way halfway to slaver's bay before khal drogo dies(at this point her dragons hatch), then crosses the red waste southwards until the reach quarth at the southern coast. After she is done in quarth she travels by sea to astapor, at which point her dragons are big enough to conquer the city. Which is a point somewhere between last half of season 2 and first half of season 3.
I don't have a source on hand for 1 season = 1 year, but I'm pretty sure its meant to be like that.

Right, but our whole concept of years has to do with solstices and seasons. If solstices didn't happen regularly, we'd have some other way of reckoning time. Maybe they do have little seasons, per year, with mild effect beyond change in length of day? Or, more likely, they have no reason to use "years" as a unit of measure, and it is just included in dialogue as a translation of "12 moons" or what have you (do they have a moon that works like ours?)

I would not be surprised if she was gone for an entire season. I think she will probably resurface briefly to show us Bravos, but her story will take a season or two to develop.

i wonder how her training will go, like from what we saw of jaquen it was like basically magic assassinations what if someone sucks at magic, im not even sure if everyone can even just do magic if taught O_o she would have to be pretty badass with a sword and like flipping moves to kill alot of people without magic. Im still wondering about gendry com'on D: where is he and the biggest question will he and arya have a love story together

Jaquen seemed to assume she could do the magic, and basically all he knows about her is that she's super pissed off. Maybe it's like the Sith: your power comes from your hatred.

I hope it is like Hogwarts. Arya can put Professor Snape on her list and brutally murder him.
