Stannis already had 4000 soldiers (as he told the bank managers). He could possibly of also hired some mercenary troops (I think the hound said he was going to Braavos to join a group of mercs?).

I was a bit surprised not seeing dragons above kings landing this season. They used it in the pre-season trailer, but it was only one of Brans visions in the end.
Also kind of hoped/expected to see missing persons like Benjen Stark and the Blackfish again, but I guess that's something to look forward to for next season.
And now the wait begins.

Wow...I didn't think it was possible but Daenerys managed to do something that makes me hate her. I want to take down my House Targaryen poster after watching this episode
Tyrion and Arya are the only people I like now...

I wish they would do some camera tricks or speed up the film when Arya's doing swordsplay. While a great actress, Maisie Williams is way too slow, and nothing has convinced me that she would be a great assassin. I laughed when, in episode 7, the guy just stood there for seconds waiting for Arya to unsheath and stab him in the heart. In this episode, her movements just seem clumsy when she's swinging her sword. So I kinda rolled my eye at the ending where they're playing up Arya to becoming a badass, since I'm unable to suspend my disbelief.

When the skeletons came out of the ground, it started feeling like a Diablo movie :D

They'll also know Tyrion had escaped and they'll find Shae dead, so it's pretty obvious that they'll think it was Tyrion. Then the next question is "how did Tyrion escape?". Though here I don't think they could suspect of Jaime since he didn't show in public how much he cared about him. Since Tywin died, Tommen will probably be assisted by Cercei and Jaime then. They will both be pleasantly surprised by their father's death, I think. It would be curious to see how they would reign, they don't strike me as rather ambitious people, in fact they don't seem that suited to reigning. Cercei showed multiple times her contempt for the life at court but she is also very bound to her son. Maybe I missed it, is there a direction towards Tyrion is directed? It seems like Tyrion would just get bored outside King's landing or another 'important' city, as he stated himself.
With Tywin dead Cercei will probably be back in control. This will likely result in her cancelling both her wedding and tommen's wedding, since she didn't want either of them to happen.
Of course, she'd have to find a new bride for tommen as well. I can't actually think of anyone off the top of my head though.
Cercei will certainly be glad he's dead. I'm guessing Jaime will largely be conflicted though. He'd know he was the cause of his father's death, and now he's going to have to deal with Cercei refusing his advances again (since she no longer needs to be with him). Cercei doesn't seem to care about the politics that much, which will result in the tyrells plotting against her.

Are those skeletons something else than wights? They are clearly not White Walkers. Looking back at the wights we've seen before I'd say these were probably furtherly decayed wights as they were so far up North or something. -_-
I really hope we get a completely new scenery now with half of Westeros fleeing across the seas and hopefully some intertwined storylines combined with Daenarys because three seasons of 'fillers' kind of disappointed me quite a bit. I just expected much more ever since she hatched her dragons at the end of season 1.
GG cya in 10 months ;(

broskis. How pissed is cersei going to be about tyrion killing father? Will she blame jamie? Ahh i don't wanna hear her bithc for another season about tyrion It's not like she was too happy with her father, she might just be relieved she won't have to marry Tyrell. The problem with her father dying is that he was the only one who could actually rule the kingdom, who's going to take care of that now?

Mate, I am EXACTLY the same. They were my top 3, in the order you listed... now I'm just left empty. That was the least satisfying Season Finale of GoT I've watched. I just feel urgh knowing I have a year to mourne the death of my 3 favourite characters without being able to move on
Stannis moves to #1 for me, by proxy of #'s 1 through to 3 all eating shit.

When she is practicing she is not supposed to be fast. You see the same thing in many martial arts when people are practicing solo. Lots of slow graceful movements and then a few explosive moves.

I really loved this episode but book readers seem buthurt about something that they might have changed from the books or smth. Its the same old like anime vs manga discussions " They changed something from the original source now the show its baaad ".
Saddest part of this episode is the chaining of the dragons for me , fuck Dany. The duel of Brienne and Hound was even better for me than Oberyon vs Mountain. So sad the Hound is dead(?) another fun character bites the dust. Ok Tyrion going back for his father was kinda out of place. You are sentenced to death and you had one in a million chance to escape and he puts himself in danger to get caught again just so he could kill his father. It was kinda ouf of character for him to do a really stupid thing but it worked out well for him. He definately got plot armor for sure after all that happened.
Overall the best season of GOT by far 10/10.

I didn't say she was slow when she was practicing, I said she looked clumsy.

How is danny gonna get the biggest most pissed off (when he sees his bros) and rebellious dragon into that cave? Isnt that the ones that been fucking shit up anyway? Plus isnt she treating the dragons like slaves now? Tywin dying T_T but tyrion living :D and hound dying T_T but arya going to braavos :D also arent the wildlings completely fucked? where were the giants the 100,000 men that were right infront of the wall like a day ago. They got slaughtered by horse riders and how is mance gonna convince stannis to let him over the wall. (hes a prisoner now and the wildlings leader is now gone) Red lady looking at jon snow D: ned stark is king of the north (was) and the red lady said she needed kings blood shiiitt jon snow run! Also wtf so bran gonna be flying now??? who is that old guy??? and when the girl (fireball girl) said that the skeleton magic doesnt reach past the tree cave, doesnt this mean someone is using magic to control them? either whitewalkers can summon skeletons? or theres another magic whielder, i guess they could also be wights with just all the flesh decayed off.

All the events in this episode should have been spread out over two episodes IMO. Apart from that:
-After Tyrion's I would gladly give my life to see you all take poison and die speech his little king's landing killing spree made perfect sense. I was actually surprised he didn't just keep going until he was finally stopped and killed by one of the apparently totally useless guards. -Wtf Dany locking up the two good dragons because a third one is bad.. That's some retarded logic right there... -Arya is a cold hearted little bitch who is only a few small steps away from deserving to die herself. -For those people who felt Cersei's sudden change of heart towards Jamie was weird: To me it sounds exactly like something a woman like her would do.
argh one more year until we learn more...

Why didnt tyrion go find cersi and kill her

Guys, just a reminder, 100k wildlings never meant 100k soldiers. There are womens, child, old people, basically everyone in the north that wasn't an undead of some form. 30k fighters (untrained for most) is a maximum I think. Indeed, we saw no giants fighting and that's a bit annoying, but cavalry charging at unprepared men would be a slaughter, so this scene was fine to me...
Overall good episode, everything felt a bit rushed, but that was the cost for an important progress of a lot of storylines.
