before the episode, i was just feeling sad that i got spoilered that oberyn was going to fight for tyrion, and didn't get the "OMG" feeling when oberyn announced he would fight. well, HOLY SHIT | ||

The choreography for that final fight was pretty sick though. Always nice to see someone move that well with a spear. | ||

Maybe the book makes that connection better if it was intended, but I highly doubt people will make it watching the show. Really, the Tyrion speech just let me know that he hates needless dying and hates the fact that humans are such natural killers. They didn't tie in enough of how much of a hot-head Oberyn is supposed to be, only just how cocky he might be. | ||

Just ye it's hard to notice them at first glance, for example Oberyn saying size doesn't matter if he is lying on the back which was not the case here of course.
