The show started on TV at 6pm and I was able to start it online at ~6:30. Sadly it wont work for non US, since according to xfinity this service is only available in the US. I've been trying to find someone to stream this, but I think it is a mission impossible :/

On one hand we have a potentially major threat to the realm, and on the other hand, right now she's a little girl. Makes for good conversation and debate as well as character development.
guess it will more likely be this: + Show Spoiler + the daenerys part will come far later later. First there will be the arrival in King's landing / Jons arrival at the wall, the introduction of the small council and then the preparation for the tournament and the tournament itself

hope they did cast a very eloquent guy for this though role.

Cant wait for Littlefinger. His actor did an awesome job in "The Wire" and I think Littlefinger will suit him perfectly

Hodor: + Show Spoiler + According to IMDB thats the actor that's playing him, would kind of suck being casted for that role implies that he looks like a half giant simpleton haha.

Can someone give me advice on the xfinity. I tried to play it on xfinity and signed in and everything and it just keeps reloading the page after i clicked play. Any ideas?

I really like Syrio so cool. And the scene where Viserys get choked is exactly how i pictured it to be. But I can't wait until all the action starts. Episodes are a little boring if you read the book.

omg so boring.
and i wanted varys to be skinnier and scarier. and little finger to be fatter and creepier. i hate seeing other peoples' ideas of written characters. lol.

Arya is pretty badass in the tv series.

Pretty Badass?! She's number 1 for my top 3 characters being Arya, Tyrion and Bran. I just find Bran awesome for some reason.
I really liked her practise scene where she stabbing the table with a food knife "practicing" for Jeoffrey.
Edit: I hope my daughter will be that cool.

Really liked this episode, especially the part where Robert, Jaime, and Barristan are talking. I don't remember that in book 1, but it really hints at + Show Spoiler +something that will completely change your opinion on Jaime when you read/see it.
Syrio, Varys, and Littlefinger are cool. Tyrion is badass as usual

Agreed. I kinda picture Varys looking like Voldemort. I like Littlefinger, though I think he needs a goatee (doesn't he have one in the books?)
Also, King's Landing looks like what I picture the Free Cities to look like.

idk but in episode 2 when the slave girl tells the story about the one moon being a giant egg that got too close to the sun and cracked from heat causing dragons to pour out of it got me thinkin
those eggs are always near candles/fire
would be sweet to see some dragon CGI

Syrio was perfect. Varys was not as unctuous as I hoped. My only disappointment was Littlefinger. I wanted him "James Bond" smooth, he still felt a little rough.
|
I thought it was a really good episode. Good character development, while at the same time introducing a large number of new characters. My only disappointment was the lack of screen time for the wolves, particularly Ghost. Not an action episode, but as others have mentioned they needed to give the character's some growth for viewers to care when something happens to them down the road.
