What are Batista and Deb gonna do to screw Laguerta over? and What's gonna happen with that guy that Quinn hired to spy on Dexter? Will he be able to report everything to Quinn before Dexter kills him?
I don't have any particular idea on what they can do to Laguerta, but they should also include the cop that screwed Deb in their plans as well. And you have to remember that Liddy only saw Dexter and Lumen loading the plastic bags on the boat, which is kinda suspicious but he still doesn't know what's inside the bags and untill then he doesn't have much on Dexter.

Dexter has some time to deal with Quinn because Quinn can't tell anyone without admitting he is stalking Dexter and accusing him of being a serial killer without very much proof. Quinn is a dectective and he knows he has to build a case before he accuses Dexter of anything. The Quinn problem is now at a point of no return so he needs to die or maybe they could go in a new direction with the show, which would be risky. I'm gonna be so pissed if Lumen kills Quinn the same way Lila killed Doakes.
Didn't the FBI and homicide conclude that Doakes was the BHB? I don't know if Quinn will come to that conclusion but he should start to suspect something in that nature if Liddy ends up turning the photos over to him.
I have to say, I really like the interaction between Lumen and Dexter. Lumen is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters in the entire series, and her performance is making this season one of the best to me.
My only complain with this latest episode was the really short time spent killing Cole. I expected it to be more drawn out with Lumen more involved; instead she might as well not have been there. I'm also a little bit disappointed Lumen didn't question Dexter more on his past killings, but that can always happen in another episode.

I've gotta say the season 4 finale was awesome, maybe even making it the best season so far. What do you guys think? For me best seasons in order are: 1=4 > 2 > 3. I didn't really care for season 3 too much. Season 2 was really good, but I didn't agree with the way they ended it. I think Doakes should have gone out in a better way, not being blown up in a house. Season 1 for me had the best storyline, but season 4 had the best ending, and of course a crazy good actor in John Lithgow. Yea I'm kinda biased cause I watched a shitload of 3rd rock from the sun back in the day.
As for the new season I'm finished the first episode, and it kind of sucks. The best parts were the flashback with Rita. The worst parts are the kids, which annoying the shit out of me, and Laguerta/Angel which are also starting to piss me off. I hate to say it, but I think the series is going to go downhill from here on out, unless they somehow get rid of those fucking kids and also instill some excitement in Dexter's killings. His usual killings are starting to get kind of stale, and just when we thought he'd get emotional with Rita, she got killed. Also I'm thinking that it may not have been Trinity that killed Rita, but someone else, like the neighbour she kissed. I could be wrong tho.

I don't like Lumen and think this whole bonding thing with her doesn't make any sense. But the worst part is Julia Stiles's acting. She is the worst actor ever on Dexter imo (not including the kids but they get a break 'cause they're kids).
Is Dexter's drop off spot really so close to the shore?

I actually really like where this season is going. I hope Lumen stays.

I think that was a directors edit, like "You got cought!", there is no way he got pictures dumping the bags.

Comment based on episode 8 preview below.
+ Show Spoiler + I'm just happy that Quinn is going to finally die. In the preview for the next episode, they show Liddly showing pictures of Dexter/Lumen dumping stuff off the boat. That is NOT the sort of thing that Dexter will allow to continue. As we've all seen before, get too close to Dexter -> die. Quinn annoys the fuck out of me, so I am eagerly awaiting his death.
And lets not forget: Quinn is romantically involved with Deb. That makes it 100x more likely Quinn dies, as we all know.

+ Show Spoiler +I've hated LaGuerta since the first season, she's the dumbest backstabbing political bitch ever, and now not only has she latched on to the nicest guy in the station but she's backstabbed Deb. Dexter needs to kill her and Quinn now, then all will be good!

Man Laguerta is disgusting. She's nothing but a career whore.

Its her character.. avoiding taking responsibility when things go wrong (like with the Tony Tucci - Ice Truck Killer incident), backstabbing others to get ahead (like she tried with her captain with the Neil Perry incident, and then later with Pascal), etc. I'm just happy they finally moved away from the Batista/LaGuerta relationship issues for 1 episode (though I'm sure we'll get back to it shortly with Angel backing Deb).

Yeah, just rewatched the ending scene and the pictures were only of them loading the bags onto the boat, before starting to move. The time the first picture is taken(them hauling the bags onto the boat) is 21:18:49 while the last picture(after lumen supposedly finished dumping the last bag) is 21:19:22. Thank god for digital cameras . Plus, it would be impossible to take pictures like that with the lens and camera he had especially in such a low light, if Dexter even went like half a mile offshore.
Fun fact: according to the camera display the date in the Dexter universe is 02/09/2010 and the camera/memory card he had, had only been used to take 81 pictures before spying on Dexter. The more you know .
