Oh my, what a cliffhanger. Here's what I predict will happen: + Show Spoiler +Asshole officer tells Quin about the bodies on the boat. Quin runs out of cash and can't pay up. the officer then tells Deb about Quin stalking Dexter. Deb yells at Quin, they breakup, but not before Quin tells Deb what he found on her brother. Deb goes searching in the Rita house and Lumen attacks her. Big awkward moment when Dexter returns home between the three. Dexter steals the blood from the "Take it!" guy, and he sends goons after him in return. Goons barge into Dexter's place and kill the nanny taking Harrison with them. Officer sees this and is convinced Dexter is in the Mob or whatnot. Dexter gets his son back and kills "Take it!" guy but not before Quin catches him in the act. Initiate Doakes scene dous: Dexter ties Quin up and leaves him somewhere. Asshole officer finds Quin and attempts to free him but gets in a fight with Dexter and somehow Quin ends up killing asshole officer, Lumen is there too. Deb then walks in and has a big "wtf" face going but then the second machete brother shoots her dead. Dexter is mad and kills machete 2. Then Quin, Lumen, and Dexter have a barbecue while Harrison kills a kitty in the background. END SEASON 5.
Remember, you heard it here first!

I was eating and watching dexter when lumen was coming back to her hotel room. Then I was like oh its going well and bam Cole comes through door. Shit I almost jumped up from chair. Perfectly timed I'd say.

I thought it was pretty obvious he would come through the door, because they use that (trick) in like ever movie.

so I don't get it, he like destroyed the door and everybody could clearly see that the door is all fucked up and still dexter killed him in the same room, thats either a plot hole or super careless.

he broke the door between his room and dexters room, i dont see the problem?
and yeah, him coming through the door was the most obvious thing that could have happened haha.
lastly, hyperbola, a very decent prediction except I dont see how Quinn fits in the end, and why he wouldnt kill dexter or arrest him or whatnot

If another one of Deb's love interests gets killed I'm just going to be kind of disappointed, its already happened multiple times before and will just be old.
Quinn is actually a good character and adds to the show so I don't want him to die, I'd rather have the writers be creative and figure a way for him to find out about Dexter's secret and stay on the show. Maybe Quinn finds out and with his already sketchy morality agrees not to out Dexter?
The douche cop (is lindy his name?) is definitely going to die, coarse, unkempt, cantankerous, raggedy characters always die in the movies and shows a like, this is no different.
I hadn't thought of it before but after I think the nanny does have a bigger role, or maybe she is just getting film time because Harrison needs to get film time?
Also who thinks that Deb's discussion with Dexter about how she didn't feel anything when she killed someone is telling of possible future events? I mean obviously she isn't going to be a serial killer but its been a theme thus far, accepting what you are, so far Dex, and now Lumen are accepting that they're killers. Though Dex accepted it a long time ago. Maybe Deb will finally figure something out about her life instead of just flopping around and fucking shit up like she usually does.
I'm happy with the season so far to say the least.

i agree, plot hole clearly since their head of security goes missing, and then they see that his door is all broken between rooms, they would check who was in the connecting room and find out it was dexter morgan

Plot hole. They've had a fair bit of them in this show, still a good show overall though.

Yeah, as they focused less and less on Dexter's ritual they've been getting more and more careless about these details. What especially bothers me is how nobody questions why Dexter is first at the scene of some of the crimes. Well, not necessarily the first, but in an awkward spot. I totally wouldn't buy him randomly driving to the exact cargo container that contained two dead bodies.
+ Show Spoiler [regarding that case] +Whatever happened to that case. I thought Dexter thought that nobody would buy Masuka's story. Also, I guess Masuka was just making a joke when he told Deb not to touch the nozzle. I thought he was saying that they could lift fingerprints off of it.

Yea, crashing through the door was a major plot hole. Other than that it was the best episode of the season.

lol, yeah guys. Im sure Dexter used his real identity to stay next to the man he plans to murder in the room he plans to do it in. Oh that gaping plot hole.

I'm quite certain every single hotel-floor has cameras, so not hard to just check the tapes and see him going into his room, and then Dexter leaves with what, 7 suitcases, whilst head of security is missing. Gee, I wonder were he went, or who knows about it.

Yes it was indead the best episode of this season. The ending of this episode was really exciting, really looking forward to the next episode

wtf i am dissapointed, they just shat on details bigger crap than ever before. And Lumen is like the dumbest bitch ever, gotta cry when i see how fucking retarded she acts. I mean there is "celebrity guy" with security guards all over the place and head of them is a guy who almost killed her, not talking about raping and such and she just walks in the hotel like on a vacation and say, hey Dexter i got into car accident so i just did the most stupid shit i could ever do, what's up. Are we going to kill him or what...I liked what Laguerta did to Deb though, at least something felt believeable.

Yeah, the point is that someone will likely investigate. I mean some guy is missing and there's a broken door next to his room. That is pretty damn suspicious. It wouldn't take long for Jordan Chase to be looking at camera footage and seeing Dexter. And Jordan actually knows Dexter's real identity, he didn't have a chance to use a fake one with him.

And nobody checked the body and saw that the cause of death was a snapped neck, or how the blood trail all the way from the warehouse figures in to Masuka's sex play theory... or what happened to that random person dexter killed in the beginning of the season (and the dirty crime scene with all the dna/blood evidence)... yeah a lot of stuff gets dropped in this show.

Perhaps the security did make that connection, so jordan goes to find dexter, and comes into his apartment with the nanny there...
Too early to call it a plot hole but if it isn't referenced... then meh
