Good start. Probably the episode with the least monologues in it. The most human Dexter I've seen thus far.
+ Show Spoiler + I have the nagging feeling that Elliot is somehow connected to the murder of Rita - if it wasn't for Trinity saying "It's too late now anyways" in last season's final. Quinn will be getting too close and eventually end up on Dex's table. Really interested in what roles Astor, Cody and Harrison will play in the following episodes. With the code being broken yet again it remains to be seen just how volatile Dexter will be in this season.

The episode was a good resolution of last season more than an introduction to this season. We have almost no indication of what this season is going to be about. It's a good starting point sure, but where does it go now?

I liked the scream of anguish he did. and the music as always is <3

Didn't think it was possible to be sad and laughing at the same time at some scenes.

Crying, awkward acting, random sex, and drama. Well, I enjoyed the first date between Rita and Dexter. So cute. As for this season, I hope it's not going to solely revolve around Quin thinking Dexter killed Rita and the FBI suspecting Dexter of killing Rita.

Thought it was great except for + Show Spoiler +Quinn and Deb hooking up in the house Rita just got sliced in, wtf was that.
And can they kill Quinn off already? The great thing about Doakes was that while he was the guy on Dexter's trail, he was also fucking awesome in his own right. Quinn's just annoying.

Yeah it is annoying that they are essentially bringing Doakes back in the form of a less cool character.

Am I the only one who likes Quin?

That wasn't his shed.

either way, he burned down something that he keeps all his shit in. You dont think that deserves any explaining? It looked like a rent-a-storage to me. But that doesnt make any sense either.

dont you remember how + Show Spoiler +he was so worried after cody fell through the shed roof, that he rented out a cargo container for his tools of the trade?

it does look like that, but that doesnt seem eerily familiar to you? im not too interested in seeing season 2 from another perspective.
edit:: But i should say, despite what im assuming, i expect I am wrong, and that it will be an awesome season. Just what it looks like so far.

I don't think that Quinn will be another Doakes, I'm thinking Quinn will eventually help prove Dexter innocent about Rita's murder.. also I'm guessing that Dexter being the witness for LaGuerta's/other-guy's-name-I-forgot marriage would be used as an alibi.
I really liked this episode, and I love it when Dexter has his outbursts of rage/emotion, so good to watch haha..
I hate Astor though, I want to stomp her in the face -_-
