Its the last season tho and its so boring and uneventful. Debras confession didnt lead to anything and the whole Zach carrying on Dexters legacy didnt happen. Season 2 felt more like a finale than this.

Its a matter of taste. I prefer Dexter over breaking bad. I am more interested in the matter and I care more about the characters and the outcome. I think breaking bad is excellent but I dont care about any of the characters as I personally dont think the bonds are as interesting etc. If you would force me to choose which series to finish watching I would choose Dexter.

Comparisons to Breaking Bad really annoy me. Just completely different things. Makes sense like comparing Dexter to Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I don't even know how you can compare Dexter to Buffy. They are worlds apart. BB and Dexter are much much closer to eachother.

You can for BB and Dexter though. There are many similarities between BB and Dexter. Especially if you look at the first few seasons of Dexter, when the writing was still good.
They both fill(ed) the same niche in terms of audience, at the very least.

Same, and Hannah.

Of course you can compare BB and Dexter. Both shows feature antihero male protagonist, who are not afraid to kill, they inadvertently involve their family in their business, are both hunted by the police at some point etc.
The only difference right about now is the quality. If Dexter pulled something like this in the second season, we wouldn't be talking about this show right now. You can be sure of that.

No, it's bad.
I watch Burn Notice, and I think Dexter has somehow exceeded Burn Notice in cringeability.

What a fucking joke of a show this has become. Somewhere between the contrived plotlines and the horrible dialogue, I've lost it. This show is best viewed as a comedy.
Yeah made my day.
Dexter the TV Show is officially beyond redemption after the last episode.

Yeah I'm just watching it for the sake of completion. It's just...boring now. This is the last season, I wanted them to pull out the stops, but we've had a weepy Deb, Dexter has killed all of...what, one person? The Brain Surgeon storyline has petered out a little and Vogel just isn't interesting enough. Thank goodness for Breaking Bad.

Since the first episode of the first season And it went only downhill from there
