Hannah and Vogel have been set up as the two opposing views on Dexter. Vogel has believed from the beginning that Dexter fits into her mold of a psychopath and that he has no choice in his killing. Hannah doesn't buy any of that (consider her skepticism about the dark passenger last season). So, I would be pretty surprised if Dexter "started acting like a serial killer" again. They've done 7 seasons of it; it seems that their final goal is to answer the question of "what is Dexter?" On a simpler level, who isn't rooting for more Yvonne Strahovski? | ||

They mentioned something about an 'incident' that caused Vogel to be interested in studying psychopaths. I'm pretty sure this 'incident' is going to be central in the brain surgeon reveal. Vogel is so off-putting. Something about her is just straight creepy as fuck. | ||

How sad it came to this. I never thought when this show would be nearing its inevitable end that I'd rather look for spoilers than watch the show. That it would get this bad. Yet, here I am. R.I.P Dexter 2006 - 2009 | ||

Now that is the farthest stretch I've ever seen in this show. If Matthews couldn't be the BHB, then I doubt he could be the Brain Surgeon. Also, I love how people complained about zac being an awful character and even going as far as to wish he would be killed, and then people complain that he was killed off. My brain hurts. | ||

What was the point of those scenes in the first few episodes where she gets the brain-ball jars and acts super surprised when no one else is around? Why lead Dexter on a wild goose chase vs the cable dude? Doesn't add up very well. Given the course of the series so far I'm pretty sure the surgeon is someone we haven't met yet and we'll know who it is next episode. | ||
