That's what I think too... she spiked her own water knowing dex would find it and that he would turn on Hannah. Hannah had to know that deb was off limits because any attempt would automatically look terrible for her regardless of innocence. The witness wasn't credible like Hannah said, with drug issues and whatnot. Makes me sad because all that foreshadowing of them being happy was making it pretty obvious that it would end poorly. I know the guest stars have been a revolving door in the past so there's no reason to think it would change but I still hoped.

I don't want to say that this season was disappointing but its like everything is resolved by episode 11. Isaak is dead, Quinns girl is gone, the relationship is broken up. What's really left? I feel like Isaak should have had more time. That enemy-turned-friend plot had much more potential than what they got out of it. I thought it was genuinely interesting and refreshing. I guess the finale will be the revelation that Debra framed Hannah and then the resulting blow up? Eh. Kinda disappointed I guess.

The twist with laguerta setting Dex up was the high point I think. I don't really see how they can go down the 'oh they suspect dexter' story line because that's been done really heavily already. Season 2 he was scrambling every episode to cover shit up so I can't see a recycled version being any good. I've loved the show until now but I think that they've made the right call to end it after season 8.

absolutely agree. Water contained her prescription pills? Shit I did that in 4th grade with Aspirin when I had a headache. Didn't work but the principle applies. Too convenient to blame it on Hannah. And when Hannah drugged Sal Price, didn't she use something that was undetectable(for the most part) anyways? Why would she change her MO, by switching to using Debra's prescription just to get Deb.

Yeah, I agree this is what happened. Deb's been taking like 6 of those pills in big handfuls all season long. She knew this was the way to get Dexter to rat out Hannah.

It's definitely possible because dissolving a bunch of pills into a bottle of water doesn't exactly seem like Hannah's line of work.

Good episode though and holy shit am I excited for the season finale. The spoiler hints at Dexter killing Maguerta but surely Debra wouldn't let him or the connections to Matthews would make it a bad idea..

I wouldn't be surprised if Matthews had one more card up his sleeve either. While he could be seen as "protecting dexter" I think he's not quite dealt out of this Miami PD "Game of Thrones", it was almost too convenient him admitting to Maria she beat him in such a nonchalant way. He's been living on his boat in solitude, that's a lot of time to think especially when she first approached him a few episodes back and entertained the idea of Dexter as the BHB.

Well, I've waited seven seasons to see Laguerta die. I'll be honest. I like villains. I really do. Vegeta - awesome. Trinity, Bryan - great villains. I enjoy a bad guy that is good at what he does. Especially if he puts the protagonist in a corner. But Laguerta's character, I could never get behind. Her only loyalty was to Doakes, which might paint her in a sympathetic light. I might have been able to feel something for her, even a tiny bit, because loyalty is admirable. Except then I remember that she's backstabbed every single other person on the entire show to get to where she is.

If anyone deserves to die, it's her. Give her what's coming, Dexter. I feel like it should be a reward for those of us who endured her awful romantic arc with Batista.

As good as this show is im seriously fucking pissed Hannah is going to jail. Am i the only one that wants to see Dexter happy? If the writers get rid of her or put her in jail its going to be a load of shit. This is when shows piss me off because Hannah could've easily spoken to Deb and explained her actions the way that she did to Dexter, so that Deb could maybe understand her idk. Dexter turning on Hannah was heartbreaking, it seems like she was genuinely happy and gave Dexter a future as well. I really hope the poster above is right and Deb drugged herself to get Dexter to turn on Hannah, and that the truth somehow comes out to Dexter and Dexter fixes the situation and gets Hannah released. Call me a hopeless romantic but i want her and dex to live happily ever after, and kill bad people together lol that would be the perfect ending to this show for me i think haha.
That twist with the setting up of Dexter, wow. I thought it was going to happen differently, i thought the bad guy was gonna have seriously turned a leaf in prison and then he was gonna set Dexter up in the supposed "drug deal" and give him up to the cops, then when they arrested him Laguerta would make the connection between Dex and his moms killer and then she would know he was trying to kill him. But i guess this works too lol....
Anyways i hope Hannah survives this season

I hope she dies too. Deb is getting on my nerves also, bitch never stops crying. Either fix her, or get ride of her.
