Lungdy represents a father figure for her, his mere presence inspires insecurity in her. Ya, I get that. What bothers me is that she should hate her father for the way he treated her, yet she looks up to him like he is a hero. Every scene we see from her childhood he is treating her like shit. How can she even like the guy?

Basic human psychology. If you acknowledge someone as your superior in any way (and I don't mean as a job thing, but as far as intelligence and emotions go) you will most likely do a lot of stuff to get into their good graces. We are attracted to people who treat us badly, especially when they are of the opposite sex, because we want to prove (to us, more than anything) that we ARE good enough to be with them.
Of course this has many ramifications and counter-examples, but it's basically the "girls are attracted to bad guys" thing.

So does anyone else think Dexter is...+ Show Spoiler +going to be right on the edge of killing his kid, but then decide at the last minute not to? Some kind of Harry hallucination to convince him not to?

Some kind of Harry hallucination to convince him not to? There's been no indication of it. The only reason to consider it is from expecting the unexpected. But it'd undermine Dexter as a sympathetic character and that'd be troublesome for the series.

+ Show Spoiler +well they're going down the road of his being insane, and one of his Harry hallucinations pointed towards his blame of his son for being sloppy during the murder at the boxing arena. Dexter is ultimately a murdering beast tamed by Harry's code, and his homicidal thoughts combined with his contempt for his father and sleep deprivation could lead him to at least consider some crazier things than usual. Nothing's been leading to it really but I thought I'd put a little prediction in there because I think it could happen.

Pretty good episode, funny too. "I'm going to come back and leave with your head in a bag. I already have the bag". Or something like that.

I have the tools to do it if anyone would like it. I imagine it can be hard to watch in other countries :O I have a good torrent site, but if you guys want I can probably stream entire seasons of it, does anyone know how long the on demand section can be? Not that I don't appreciate the gesture but that is a very good way to get permanently banned from livestream. They don't even allow copyrighted material in people's autopilots so how do you think they will react to someone streaming one of the most popular TV-shows live? Ah shit happens, if it works for a single episode its worth it. I don't really livestream shit and I am sure I will get a warning before a ban and I doubt it would be an IP Ban.

Masuka's car is win! this killer is so pro! :D

Anyone else has the notion that Lundy
+ Show Spoiler + is not only back in Miami because of the Trinity case but also because of Dexter? Since serialkillers are his speciality and because he was able to notice the thin leads Trinity spread during the last 30 years, he should be well aware of people going constantly missing in Miami (and showing up in strange places eventually - check Quinns comment when he talks with Debra, trying to rebut her theory).
The conversation at the end, where Lundy basically admits to having a dark passenger of his own, certainly gives you the impression that he wanted to see Dexters reaction, since he already suspects him. I am pretty sure that Dexter will have to deal with Lundy sooner or later. On his table.
Since when has lundy "already suspected" dexter? And dexter merely makes people who nobody would file a missing persons report for disappear and the bodies are never found. Not to mention even if there were missing persons 99% can be explained by doaques the bay killer
+ Show Spoiler + I said it gives you the impression that he suspects him Besides, as stated above, Quinn said that bodies sometimes wash up in the harbour. And Lundy should be clever enough to realize that even after Doakes death there are still people who disappear, since Dexter never stopped killing.

+ Show Spoiler +the number of missing persons cases is probably large enough that you wouldn't be able to tell that a couple dozen of them were murdered just by looking at it

+ Show Spoiler +The scene you are referring to made me think that Lundy may be Dexter's friend that finds out the truth about him, but doesnt turn him in. I think the person Dexter kills will be Quinn, not Lundy. They are setting Quinn up to be the next Doakes. We have seen in both this season and last season that Quinn is a dirty cop. He was responsible for a cop's death. Maybe he will be responsible for another, or maybe he slips farther into rage as the season progresses and he actually kills someone. That would allow Dexter to take care of him.

what I'm starting to dislike is how unrealistic the series turning to.
Dexter went from a coldblooded well planned and organized serial killer, to a father of 1, 3 counting the adopted, husband, with 1 empty apartment, a full time job and now killer too that has to run to pharmacies to get medicines in the middle of the night during his killing rituals.
I find this very hard to believe, in sense that I don't think anyone could come up with that rythm of life.
