lol they look NOTHING alike.. That would be a pretty entertaining mindfuck though.

Anyone else consider that the car accident was just imagined?

Rudy/Brian was killed too fast. the plot and story were awesome and I believe it could have been squeezed way more into S2, hell even moving Rudy/Brian as a secondary character or anything. Make him dissappear for a few episodes, then reappear again, keep it as a suspense element.

apart from that, no complaits at all

the main character has lost it.

the identity of dexter has just lost.

Why ? Predictable plot, and excesive clichés during all episodes. Make that way too many clichés.

basically, I don't understand how Dexter can be so smart, so inteligent, so brilliant for one things and so careless, so unorganized, in essence so dumb for other things.

it's like one day he plans everything precisely, carefully, methodically, he is this cold-blooded organized person then another day he just does what ever pops in his head first.

IE. I always found uncomfortable how Dexter would keep his trophies stored in the AA of his apt right from the start of the show on S1, in fact it's one of the reasons I give it a 9 and not a 10/10. I mean after all, all anyone would need to find them was just a search warrant or simply break into his apt. So moving on to S2, Dokes finds his trophies, (at first he thinks it's Lundy), anyway he frames Dokes, all is back to normal and yet again he starts collecting new trophies AGAIN ? and hides them in the SAME PLACE? What's up with that ? shouldn't he have learned from the error ?

another example:

when he knocks Paul down at Rita's house he puts him on his trunk, drives him to a hotel where he shots heroin to him... and HE DOESN'T NOTICE PAUL IS MISSING A SHOE ?? I mean how careless is that ??

the character has become somewhat of more "human"... and honestly I find it hard ... make that extremely hard to believe, that a coldblooded serial killer can become so human in just a few days.

dexter has now turned into someone that can't deal with this problems the proper way in a quick amount of time.

- he didn't deal with the paul situation as soon as he should have to.
- he didn't deal with the latin big guy killer situation as soon as he should have to.
- he didn't deal with the lila situation as soon as he should have to.
- he didn't deal with the dokes situation as soon as he should have to.

and all this happened because he started to regain consience ? humanity ? compassion ?

and another thing...... enough of the harry code thing, it's getting real old.

he keeps mentioning the harry code but we only know what ? rule 1 and maybe 2 more ? .... at this point I think he sohuld have his own code. I guess that's why the final episode of S2 says he's now the master.

1 - what was the purpose of Dokes flying to Haiti ?

2 - did dokes wanted to bring the blood samples to Haiti or did he left them in the car on purpose or he accidently forget them ?

3 - why did laguerta fly to Haiti ? shouldn't a phone call be enough ?

4 - how and when did dexter find lila in paris ? I assume they prolly booked a hotel together but he definetly wasn't going right ?

5 - how did dexter was able to fly an epidermal (or whatever it's called) into Paris, making it through both Miami Airport and Charles de gaulle airport customs ? I mean , not that I know much about airport security but I'm not quite sure you can bring drugs with you through airport security right ?

6 - what was the purpose of lila stealing dexter's gps and moreover going to the cabin ? I assume she thougght that maybe he and rita were there but I may be wrong ?

7 - why is it assumed that dokes may have not commited suicide rather than considering his death an accident ? I mean, how many times can you turn on a kitchen without noticing there is a leak of gas... it's something that happens frequently.

8 - when dexter gets shot by dokes, was it just a cut not deep ? he seems not to limp at all the following days.

It is part of the ritual.
