as much as i began to hate the linear storylines of past seasons i hate that this season dexter connects to so many killers. and they all fall like flies. its just so random. lets have a tea party with all the murderers of miami and talk about our feelings... we dont want to kill each other we just want to feel less lonely...
instead of having one big character throughout the season you have now so many and they come and go so fast... thats just speeding up everything. They created so much depth with isaac, just to kill him off and never be seen again.
im a bit disappointed

It's because they've done the "big bad" thing to death, and honestly the show has more depth with more plot lines than one singularly focused around killing Isaac. I know many people wanted Isaac to kill Hannah and Dexter to put Isaac on his table, but I think we would've all seen that coming.

Last episode was awesome. So many conflicting emotions in one place.
@SpikeStarcraft You shouldn't be disappointed. Things are more exciting and less predictable this way. You never know how things will turn out.
I wonder what will happen to Hannah? Dexter's table for her again ? Happily ever after with Dexter ? xD

We haven't seen Dexters table in far too long. When was the last time we saw it? Victor?? I honestly can't remember it's been too long.
Isaac sure deserved it, I'm disappointed he didn't meet his end in proper Dexter fashion.

Can't wait for the next episode! Laguerta sure makes me nervous about Dexters future.

Exactly, I'm tired of that already didn't we have enough of that for 6 seasons?
The series isn't about Dexter killing people, as someone pointed out a couple pages back, it's about the evolution of Dexter as a human being. Although he may seem like a callous, cold and methodical killer who doesn't have a clue on how to socialize, Dexter has evolved in multiple angles (friendship, sibling relationships, having a family, love affairs, being a father, even empathy in the case of Lumen). I think he isn't a lost cause as Harry thought and he was wrong, I think Dexter can eventually become "normal" (or what society thinks what the word means) and that's what the TV series is about.

We all know what happens to people who know Dexter's secret.
Either they die, or leave (the show); They fall in love with Dexter.
Anyone for Dexter X Laguerta sex scene or is it just me?

laguerta has been slowly starting to suspect more and more each episode and deb will soon really catch on and try to get her off the case before leguarta knows 100% about dexter because if that happens, laguartas dead and deb knows that. I think dexter will be involved more with hannah/her father and this new weird fire killer guy while deb tries to deal with laguerta for the rest of the series.
Poor isaac he was my favourite "bad guy" since trinity, he had tons of great dialogue, and that ego drunken bar owner got to kill him. Oh yea and quinns fucked, idiot fell in love with a stripper at a ukranian mob owned strip club THAT THEY ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING. He beat that dirt bag up pretty hard though lol quinn seems pretty tank.

Miami police employees are mandated to report whether they do or do not own a boat.
Who knew.

Naw in the states they'd have to register their boat with their port of call regardless of being police or not, those records are public knowledge.
Same thing with cars just a quick trip to the registration office and a couple bucks and you can get lists of all sorts of people owning vehicles.

Let's all hope cyborg Doakes is the pyrokiller.

Come to think of it, I think it was stupid that after getting shot Isaac was like "man fuck it, I feel like dying you know? forget about medical help"
I think I read somewhere that very few gunshot wounds cause immediate or very quick death. It was probably 15:00-17:00 when he was shot, could even be earlier we don't know, but sun was still up. When they were in the boat, it was evening. That's at least 3-4 hours, if he can survive 3-4 hours with that wound, he would have survived.
I think it was stupid for the writers' part to kill Isaac in such a stupid manner.

Dumb bitch is still alive. Hope Dexter kills her in the end.

Especially after he went through all that trouble of NOT GETTING KILLED by the two hitmen.

Ha. That would be something.

Maybe the pyrokiller is dexters next target or the striptease boss?

I think Quinn will end up killing Laguerta, hence saving Dexter too accidentally. He's in too much shit, at some point the higher ups have to notice, or Quinn has to think they noticed + Laguerta has to die, it's not in Debra's or Dexter's MO to kill her, Hannah would be way too obvious of a choice, so that s my crazy foresight, Quinn offs her

It was really satisfying watching Joey beat the shit out of what's his face (stripclub owner). I'm kind of surprised he just showed up at the boat scene though. Why did he want Isaac dead anyway? I must be completely forgetting the reasoning behind that.

The last time we saw Dexter's table, Hannah was on it ^^

If he didnt manage to kill isaac within X days, they would send some people to kill mr. stripclubowner (at least thats how I remember it). But since Dexter saw Mr. Stripclubowner leaving the ship, he fits his code now and can end up on Dexter's table. Him or that boring fire serialkiller dude will be the next to visit the sea in plastic bags.
But I'm curious how things will end up with Hannah and Deb. Since Dexter wasn't really lucky with women and Deb being his "only constant" in his life and keeping in mind that this show tends to stick to some principles I think that Hannah will die or go or whatever (maybe killed / caused by Deb? That would be some kind of plot twist to get them both "closer together" on the killscore level and even further apart on another, emotional level).
