It's because all the main characters in these shows are involved in criminal enterprises and their female counterparts serve as an impediment to their routine. So the main reason that these female characters are disliked is because the stop the main characters from doing what they do best, which irritates the viewers. I must be different, I mostly like the females (not Margaret though). But how can one dislike Skylar? She is the most sane person in all of Breaking Bad. While the main character (Walter) is an insane asshole. I always want him to fail / be put in jail. Same with Dexter actually. I would like him to be stopped as he is a danger for everyone around him including his son. He already got his wife, a fellow police officer and a few other innocent people killed. He isn't truly responsible for Doake's death. Doakes made the mistake of getting too close and not leaving him alone. Rita I give you, though he had it planned out in the end. He didn't account for errors in his master plan though. Dexter's time is coming to an end I'm sure. They ran the course of how some people have to deal with their demons, and whether or not you can save/stop/reconcile yourself. Dexter still isn't a bad guy and wouldn't intentionally hurt/kill anyone, but what he does does not cast a good shadow on him. eh... Doakes was doing his job as a cop. Hard to say it was actually his fault. Dam I miss him though. 'Surprise MOthafuka!!' My post was more along the lines of Dexter's pov. This episode... Kinda weak. They really wrote Isaak's character into a corner. For one of the few adversaries that has been able to keep up with Dexter, they really dealt with him poorly. Going to take a lot of effort to write him back in somehow imo. A side note, the amount of adversaries Dexter had/has to deal with this season is awesome. Louis, Deb, Isaak, LaGuerta, Hannah, possibly even Quinn+Batista still hanging around as potential trouble. Hes going to be so overwhelmed at some point I bet. why is he in jail? I get it if they woulda mentioned outstanding warrants, but considering theyve encountered him before at the bar with no consequences, it's a load of bull. The shooting was quiet obviously a case of self defense.
I don't think they have encountered him before. He only talked to Dexter I think, and even then they didn't know who he was (though I may have forgotten if they did talk to him).
I'm also going to go with outstanding warrants, since he had to break into one of his places to look at his photo with Viktor. Though we'll see.

It was shown. And that place he broke into probably was Victor's home, not his own >_>

Shows gunna end with Dexter realizing hes a serial killer and killing himself. Dats deep dog. And to relief Debra of all the stress related to her knowing his secret. Also, Harrison probably live with his grandparents maybe Debra. Quin will also die this season most likely.

SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER
Realizing he's a serial killer? Killing himself? What?

The only thing I can see myself agreeing with is that Quinn is pretty fucked.

Yeah he was looking like a solid match as far as deadliness with Dexter. After the bar scene I was imagining them face to face, mano a mano, in a fight to the death. Interestingly I couldn't picture Dexter winning that one.

Maybe he disappears for this season and reappears in the next and last season.

I can't believe Dexter had that conversation with Isaak on that jail phone. Aren't those calls monitored/recorded? Couldn't they pin what Dex said regarding killing Victor as a confession?
|
Obviously you can believe it because its a completely accepted motif in tv shows and cinema. I authentically have no idea if the phone calls are recorded or monitored, I do know theres a complete consensus as far as FICTION goes, that they arent recorded or monitored.
|
Yeah you can only assume they aren't. No way Dexter wouldn't have been aware of it if they were.
