on a side note , does anyone watch Luther?
Luther is one of my new top 5 shows. Idris Elba and the rest of the cast do a phenomenal job, and the writing is fast paced, gritty and intense although a little over-the-top at times. Thoroughly recommend ^^
Dexter season 6 is pretty average so far. Olmos and Hanks are doing a great job as the villains, but their screen time is too short and far between all the soapy garbage and filler that the show is bogged down in. Seriously, when the fuck did Dexter become a slow paced soap-opera groanfest?

This season looks promising. But I enjoyed every season of Dexter so far.

I was afraid of the kind of lame themes we started with this season, but the past 2 episodes have gotten back in the game. I can't wait for next Sunday :D

the blond chick is so hot :3 aahhhhh

Shit just got real in S06E04. Despite the predictable writing, it totally turned around the season.
Edit: Protip: when working the crimescene of a bible themed killer, don't open the cabinet that is making insect buzzing noises.

0_O Crazy episode, I really like the theme that this season is going for and the duality between good and evil people of faith. The ending of the episode 6 was sick (literally).

this was a preety great episode i must say, some of it was preety funny as well, and, some of it preety sick. But i like where things are going, and yes, shits getting real!

Loving this season so much! I already want to see the next episode! Aghhhh another weeek

Love tonight's episode.
42:15, the "Jar it" infomercial on the TV, loled.

Loved tonight's episode. The scene's with Batista and Quinn especially had me cracking up. Mos Def is great too.

This was a really good episode. I was pleasantly surprised. Mos Def had a huge monologue and I think pulled it off quite nicely. Everything went better than expected.
|
It was a good one. Is it unusual that Dexter is already onto the "season" killer this soon into the season? I like how they're departing from the formula, it was getting a bit boring.

Dexter is an amazing character. I've never rooted for a character as much as I root for Dexter and that is so twisted and awesome at the same time. The story arc for season one was great. Paying close attention to details in the story pays off. But the bigger payoff is paying close attention to everything concerning Dexter as a character. Every conflict he has and every decision he makes will tie you up as a viewer so much more if you're with him every step of the way.
Also, my mother's cousin worked on the show and won an Emmy for his work on the show!
Has anyone read the series of novels it is based on and also watched the television series? I'm thinking about reading the novels but I'm not sure.
I have read the novels and they are great. Definitely recommend it. They have an entirely different plot to the TV series (except for the first novel), and are just as interesting. it is like more seasons of Dexter, just in book format.

Best episode of the season so far.

I was thinking the new cop that Deb hired would bust Angel and Quinn. Was it just me or did anybody else get some sort of "thing" between Deb and the new guy?
|
^Next episode Debra will have a freakout and they will end up making out, you heard it here. Or maybe 2 episodes.
I really liked this episode. A low point with the mizuka/trainerbitch plot.. I mean honestly nobody cares.. I enjoyed the whole theory of religion parts and Quinn/Batista against the chicago detective.

Mos Def is gonna kill the Doomsday killer, calling it right now.
