The Beasts, regardless of whether they just keep to themselves and don't attack anyone were still used as weapons by the ninja world. Getting rid of them so no random asshole can take one and weaponize it makes sense in a 'lowering the nuclear stock pile" kind of way. Killing the Kages and replacing them is sort of a dark twisted version of the whole 'younger generation taking over for the old' theme that constant;y runs through the series as well. everything OTHER then that makes little to no sense but those 2 things I would understand even it was the "wrong" thing to do of course. In a better writers hands this COULD work. | ||

You can't blame the dude for the way he turned out considering his only role model is a person who slaughtered his entire clan in their sleep(including, but no limited to: his parents, clan members who probably didn't even know about the coup d'etat, children, women and elders) for some absurd reason like "the village". So he made sure of it by torturing him 144 hours... Wait... That one has never made any sense to me tbh. Itachi's decision just seemed wrong either way (I mean either kill the leaders of one of the two factions, or try to negotiate on the basic that everyone knows the gig is up and it's not gonna work) and he totally abused Sasuke in the process with literally no reason at all. The whole "hate to get strong" argument could only make Sasuke crazy and Danzo had no reason to kill him anyways. | ||

 In general though, aside from the small parts of Sasuke's plan that he didn't consider (sleep for example etc...), I think he would be able to make it work. The whole idea is that by destroying all the villages, he can reunite everyone under the same one eliminating the whole village vs village mentality. On top of that, he gets rid of the tailed beasts avoiding others from getting their hands on them to use and by being a dictator, everyone's focus would be on him. No longer will people feel like they belong in one camp or another. Their main focus will be on Sasuke which will unite them. He definitely has the power to take down anyone asides from Naruto imo. The kages are probably a joke for him now especially when you consider he kept up well enough back when he stormed their summit and everyone beneath them is child's play. Yes, he won't live forever but I doubt he's thinking that far ahead. Pain was in a tower or something near konoha, and gai could have taken down pain for sure. Slaughter, please, Sasuke is essentially God tier now with his latest upgrade. He chibaku tensei'd all 9 beasts like that. Pain who could only do a single one and was suffering at the time took down all of Konoha. Madara who I would say Sasuke is getting close to (power wise), slapped around the beasts who >>>> than most of the ninjas combined. My point is that yes, logistics would be a problem but Sasuke definitely has the power to eliminate competition and claim dominance. Heck, as Forikorder mentioned, he can easily eliminate Naruto and the kages then claim he's the only survivor and that he saved them. Most will submit to it so long as his efforts of helping out can be confirmed by several 'important' people etc... Regardless, Naruto will come out alive from their fight and give Sasuke the chance to join him which he'll take kinda like the Madara/Hashi fight from long ago. He'll probably find a place for him after he becomes Hokage and everyone lives happily ever after | ||
