There's a difference between using force to break something and performing instantaneous and precise eye surgery to remove an eye (effectively digging it out without any care for precision) and then re-attaching it inside your own eye cavity. If you knew any biology whatsoever you'd know what would go into severing and attaching an eye (however unlikely it is in real life). But oh well, let's throw all reason outside the door. It's a matter of consistency between what is (was) considered possible and impossible in the context of the manga, or, like the guys at tvtropes put it, Magic A is Magic A. And yes, instantaneus eye surgiry is more absurd in the context of the manga than a soul transplant technique to make yourself immortal. | ||

Firstly there's no real life equivalent of a soul in biology, so it's not comparable. So, yes, I suppose. | ||

A quick rundown of the chapter... madara uses force lightning on naruto and sasuke. naruto throws his black stick to absorb his lightning and sasuke teleports away. naruto goes in for an attack with his stick. madara uses "limbo." sasuke sees the invisible shadow. apparently, madara's invisible shadow is blocking naruto's attack and gets hurt by it because the stick is imbued with sage chakra. I thought limbo was a force or something but it seems to be a shadow that lives in 'limbo.' probably another dimension or frequency of time but for now, it just seems to be an invisible shadow clone that you can switch inbetween and there's a cooldown how long the shadow can be out of madara. sasuke throws his sword at madara but misses. he's confused because he hit the invisible madara and it went right through. the invisible madara is immune to physical attacks. Then you read naruto can sense the shadow and sasuke can see it. madara tries to steal sasuke's eye and when he gets close, sasuke teleports madara to his sword. I do not know if the sword was teleported too since it changed positions... or he used one of the eye's power to move the sword around but madara was teleported into the sword... or near the sword and got stabbed because of his momentum.It looks like he got stabbed by his momentum into the sword because you can see his outfit got pulled back by the sword. sasuke and madara prepare two attacks. madara is teleported between them or they teleported to madara.. its unclear because there isn't reference in the background. then madara switched himself with his shadow. the rest is straight forward edit: the chapter says it clearly that the teleport ability is sasuke's eye power so I don't think he copied a jutsu. theres probably a lot of details to it though, | ||

"It's shonen!" who needs eye surgery? grab it, yank it till it gives, profit not even any need for a ???? step and hes MADARA his whole source of power and plan is based taking out peoples eyes and giving them to someone else, im sure hes studys the hows, furthermore he only has to worry about removing it since hashiramas cells will handle putting it back in This shadow business of Madara's, though, it sounds a lot like Kamui, only with a time limit. Lots of stuff is still unclear right now. its different from Kamui hes making a clone in another dimension who can effect the real one instead of sending himself to it to dodge attacks edit: the chapter says it clearly that the teleport ability is sasuke's eye power so I don't think he copied a jutsu. theres probably a lot of details to it though he has rinnegan so may be something similar to the push/pull path / summoning path | ||
