I have read the whole manga again a few months back, for the third time. I still think many things in this manga are huge asspulls.

You completely missed the point in Sasukes decision then. the reason why he wanted to destroy konoha is the same reason itachi saved sasukes life at the uchiha massacare, his life were more precious to him than the whole village. its by no means an asspull, not even close, ever since part one sasuke was known as an "avanger" and it was mentioned specifically when obito had his little chat with naruto in the land of iron. hell Itachi's last words to him before he went rouge made sure he'll become one so he could avenge the uchiha clan, only that he chose to avange itachi after learning his backstory in later events. Mercy(letting sasuke live) is different than swearing blood vengeance for the death of someone you killed yourself. Itachi chose the life of a martyr for the sake of peace and to not sully the name of the rest of his clan he took the sins on himself(the Uchiha clan indeed tried to break off a civil war in pruchase of power). Itachi also planned to atone for this by dying at Sasuke's hand. Sasuke than decides that instead of being angry at the Uchiha clan, that trying to destroy the village that his brother happily lived and died for(literally) is the right response. Itachi wasn't even forced to do this. After the situation was explained to him he did it voluntarily. Obviously the village is fascist.
I dont think you can say he wasnt forced to do this. indeed no one else pushed him to, but he had to force himself to do it.
While the village elders planned the mission to take out the Uchiha clan and Hiruzen trying to think of an alternative, itachi saw he ran out of time and had to voluntier only because by doing so he could save sasuke from the massacare.
if he didnt volutier, they would have chosen someone else and that someone else would have probably killed sasuke, since no one gave any conditions to Danzo.
Another thing is that sasuke was still Blinded by hatred, for all his life he belived that the uchiha clan was an honorable clan, a clan who was a symbol and the main police force of the leaf village.
Except for the fact he realised Itachi's life is more important to him than the village, when he was told the senju (2nd Hokage) were oppressing the uchiha clan and spreading them to the outskirts of the village to keep them monitored, he kind of made an exuse for himself to not hate his clan, but blame the senju clan for pushing them so low they had to make a coup d'etat.
that is exactly why sasuke changed his mind from destroying konoha after talking with the hokages, before he did he just belived that the senju are the ones to blame, but only after hearing their side of the story he accepted itachi's belifes and changed his way

I'm not sure you know what asspull means. Sasuke doing something that's immature, and misplacing his anger, has nothing to do with the continuity of the story, it's just a character doing something you don't like, which is just a literary device for creating drama.

yes he realised all that after talking to the 1st hokage, but before then he couldnt comprehend that someone would willingly do what Itachi did so came to the conclusion he was forced into it against his will

Madara pretends to get hurt by gai sacrificing his life to beat him, but heals. Because he’s madara. Gai doesn’t die because kakashi uses the power of friendship to heal him while madara talks about how they’re all useless.
Sasugay and naruto come back from the dimension madara didn’t deem worthy enough to kill them in, and fight madara. But lose at first, and then use the power of friendship and comrades to win.
They finally return home, holding hands and get married, becoming the 6th Brokages. Sakura and Hinata kill themselves. Everyone is happy
