what if you just need to be exposed to the moon once? why is everyone insisting that the moon must be visible at all times for the genjutsu to work? | ||

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that it wouldn't affect everyone at the same time because everyone can't see the moon at the same time (it's not night at the same time everywhere). Of course, we're assuming their world isn't flat. You could also ask yourself what would happen to someone who can't see the moon when the genjutsu is activated, or at any point of time afterwards for that matter. But it's usually a mistake bringing logic into the plots of manga, because many mangaka disregard logic in favour of 'cool' (or whatever it might actually pass for). | ||

That's what I'd think - though it might not hit everyone at the same time, it wouldn't be ridiculous to say it works permanently, and will hit everyone on Earth if given a day to spread its width. Then again, this is the power of the Ten Tails we're talking about here, so it could also just be bouncing its power off the moon, and the magnitude of its power lets the shockwave idea hold water as well. It´s not over yet though, Madara hasn´t made his move, and Kakashi has to jump out and save Obito from himself by being the bestest of friends. I´m looking forward to the next chapter. | ||
