I guess Kishimoto forgot the part where the Hokage has to be the strongest nin in the village not only for practical purposes but because the Hokage is your final line in defense of the village. Danzo could be killed by a baby. This is just another example of plothole writting, and since when can one elder decide who the Hokage is? Are you god damn kidding me? You'll find it's hard to lead people who don't take you seriously. | ||

Danzo just nerdrage'd about the 3rd Hokage and the lineage of those hokages and then he becomes Hokage? I want to know how Naruto will react to this. Danzo will sure make an ugly face on that mountain...assuming he lives long enough. Isn't Sasuke coming by soon to kill the village elders? Sounds like Danzo will die to Sasuke. I hope it happens. | ||

What about the possibility that madara/tobi = danzo . Or was that disproven? That could explain what tobi had to do that was more important than dealing with the 8-tails. | ||

Can anybody explain how Danzo knows Pain was Jiraiya's pupil? I don't recall if it was explicitly explained anywhere. I did think about Madara/Tobi = Danzo and it wouldn't shock me if it did. | ||
