Well, the fights are always awesome when animated(refer to DBZ), and it is easier to get into a story when there is background music and voices ready for you. The target audience is the same as the manga, although usually younger people prefer the anime and older people prefer the manga. | ||

It has always seemed to me to be a fairly niche thing but clearly there is a following. It surprised me that TL has a thread like this because the last animation i ever watched was when i was about 14 and that was dragon ball z, man that show was 80% screaming and talking shit but the fights were well worth the wait. | ||

I follow this because I've read the manga since I was still in highschool which was like 6 years ago or so. I did watch the anime in highschool but that's a bit too much of my time. I don't really like it like now as much as during my highschool period (maybe because now it's quite worse compared to back then) but I still want to see how it all ends. The same things goes with One Piece and Bleach. Work and college takes too much time nowadays that you can't be like in highschool spending your time on useless stuff ^^ | ||
