the GoDs of destruction have more personality than what the anime is giving us and that they all have some kind of reason to hate Beerus before the tournament of power, which is sort of Beerus' fault. | ||

The thing that is weird to me, though, is how they are straight up changing the power rankings of the GoDs. In the anime, the lizard looking dude seems to be known as the #1 in strength. But in the manga, this lizard guy, along with everyone else, struggles against Beerus, making him look totally on top. | ||

Much, much better. My ideal tournament ending: Piccolo tries to serve as a point of stun/tool in the fight against Jiren. At one point, Piccolo has to limp away because the fight is beyond him and he is only holding Goku/Vegeta back. Goku gets his sick new form, and puts a giant dent in Jiren, but Jiren is ultimately straight up too strong for the Saiyans. Somehow, some way, Piccolo stumbles upon the 2 U6 Namekians that have yet to be revealed. Similar to the condition he found Nail, the two Namekians are barely holding on to life as the only 2 remaining U6 fighters. Realizing their universe is about to be erased anyway, they choose to give Namekians the greatest chance of survival by fusing into Piccolo. These 2 Namekians are able to push Piccolo into perhaps even a new form, but at the very least, barely enough strength to take out a weakened Jiren. Piccolo is the last man standing and is re-relevant against after absorbing 2 insanely strong Namekians. Some technicality regarding how Namekian fusion works ends up actually making this a join victory between U6 and U7, saving both universes from erasure. But Frost is still totally erased because Zenohs did it themselves. Frost, being clearly just a shitty version of Freeza, is never seen again. | ||

Not sure I follow you with the Namekian thing Mohdoo. That would be Bleach or Fairy Tail level asspull. I want Goku to ask Zeno if they can perform the fusion dance and being interested in seeing it, Zeno allows them to and GOGETA BITCHES! houses Jiren. The end. | ||

The end. Maybe, but he came close against Freeza on Namek. I just desperately want someone other than Goku to close this out. Piccolo came so close during the Cell saga, too. After his shitty fight with Dabura, I really want him back in the top 3. | ||

I also felt Frost's... termination, to be fitting. Very reminiscent of when Frieza abused Goku's good faith after their fight on Namek. There's something about the two of them that they just can't handle losing. | ||

Does it remain extremely Goku focused? Lots of non-Goku character development lately. Certainly more than DBZ. Hunter x Hunter is 100000x better at making "non-primary" characters still extremely relevant and important. On that note, I want to strongly encourage every single person here to make sure they watch Hunter x Hunter. Best story ever written. | ||
