As expected Frieza didn't actually backstab U7. They have the strongest fighters and Frieza knows it. His best chance at actually coming out alive (and getting rezzed) are with U7. Only if that changes might he consider a backstab though I do think U7 will have his preference if not purely due Goku and Vegeta being in it. | ||

I think it would be nice if a few more saiyans went different routes to power. Gohan and Mystic. Goku and God. Vegeta and .... Would give variety imo. Freeza wasn't going to touch U7 but I thought he would rough up some people. I think Freeza knocks out Ribrianne and then scolds Goku for fucking around like he did with Gohan. There's what...28 minutes left? | ||

They take damage while in base mode...enough damage where sometimes they struggle to even get a hit in or get up...how is that conserving energy when you would just power up to blue and punch someone straight out of the arena. + Show Spoiler + i wonder how the hell they are gonna do this in the manga, where goku has complete control over the leaking god-ki and i assume vegeta gets it by the tournament as well...i totally expect them to just blue from the getgo and kick some ass...but that probably wont happen | ||

They said it in the anime, so don't get mad at me for repeating it. I figure if they power up real quick, take care of business and go back to base, they can save some energy. But if you get into a protracted fight, then it works against you. Without senzu beans, lost stamina is lost stamina. | ||

I'm not sure what spoiler-verse is saying about this, but I think Vegeta bails Goku out. He reached the infused SSB mode in the anime before Goku, so I'm sure he's gone above that somehow. Whether or not it's enough to beat Jiren, that remains to be seen. I don't think Zeno spares any universes. He seems to stick to what he says and few can assuade him of that. Grand Priest probably saves a couple and petitions to hold another similar tournament in the future with the remaining universes without threat of elimination. Frieza and Vegeta take out Toppo and then go to work on those hiding fighters. | ||

Aside from the freiza beating up the yardrat and then deciding to backstab frost, the episode was pretty terrible overall and then they even had that ribrianne fighting Goku again leading to more zzzzzzzzzz | ||
