cant remember where i read it, but i remember it being said that none of the movies are canon. That being said the trunks movie is regarded as part of the story, because of how hes now back in super so something along the lines of the movie went down.
Just asking because Cooler's Revenge would fit into the timeline (except Icarus the flying dragon). I also ask because one of Cooler's henchmen used that Ki Blade that Black Goku used in the Zamasu arc. So there's that precedent for the move being used.
That caught my attention so I thought I would bring it up.
Looks like Caulifa is out and Kale is still useless. Some of the Pride Troopers get knocked out trying to take on 17, 18, Goku, and Vegeta. I'm guessing Jiren goes after Freeza or Hit?

Kale powering up into her legendary form and going green made me lose my damn mind. That double beam blowing the shit out of that shield was amazing. Ho-ly shit what an episode. It was kinda weird how Toppo and Jiren just left Goku and the other saiyans with the weak troopers. They got utterly bodied and Goku never even went SSJ lol. There is really no logical basis for Jiren and Toppo being like "Let's have our notably weaker guys fight the guys who Jiren already had to intervene with".
Edit: 18 throwing that stupid fucking shield bitch off the ring was amazing too
All in all a good episode. Kale controlling that power is scary for sure. Still hate her. Well, here's to another week of waiting. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet.
Really liked this episode. I think the Pride Troopers are an annoying Mary Sue of a team so them getting bodied was somewhat satisfying. Looks like next episode will have more Freeza which was definitely missing from the past few.
