You kind of wrong. The armoured and collossal Titan are a great threat on there on, but the real threat are the other titans streaming in, after they created the holes. That is not possible anymore with Eren abiltiy, that shrinks the offence power of both titans tremendously.

There's one thing I've been wondering for a while... Forgive me if this has already been mentioned, since I read only a part of this thread. But if it hasn't, I think it's a good point to make.
Take a look at this page and the following pages:
http://www.mangareader.net/shingeki-no-kyojin/30/4
What you see there is Mikasa having wounds on her face and steam arising from her face. Soon enough - her face is completely healed and no more steam is being produced.
Unless I'm completely missing something, I think Mikasa has to be a Titan. How would she otherwise regenerate like that while producing steam in the same way as Reiner did earlier? (For reference: http://www.mangareader.net/shingeki-no-kyojin/20/41 ) Notice that he is wounded, but regenerates quickly while noticeably producing steam in the following page. And we all know that he's
+ Show Spoiler +

Levi had that too. I think it's either they're both titans, or it's just the titan blood that spat on them evaporating.

It's evaporating titan's blood, flooding out from Annie's titan form.

Hmm. Yeah, I guess that's possible (blood evaporating I mean). It kind of feels like foreshadowing for a later reveal though (as was the case with steam rising from Reiner's wounds).
Although now that you mentioned the possibility of it being random Titan blood, it's pretty much impossible to say one way or the other...
I think I saw similar steam from Commander Irvin as well, at least in the anime. So if it truly is all foreshadowing, all three should be Titans.
I think your theory is more likely now though

Ah ok, I might have actually misunderstood the situation with Reiner as well. He had just cut Annie, so naturally he would have her blood evaporating from him.... Yeah, it really feels too stupid for so many central characters to be hidden Titans.

im pretty sure if Mikasa was secretly a titan she would have realised by now levi also he wouldnt be benched for so long if he could regenerate everything in a day or two

Mikasa hadn't suffered any wounds to her face either at that point, so that being her blood evaporating isn't plausible. Oh, and the blatant disregard for it 'being discovered' if it actually was she herself that was doing the steaming is unlikely.

I think it's just blood, and then after a while, the jumping around and wind in the forest blew it off or it dissipated. The author's art style is famously rugged and relatively imprecise compared to other manga, so I wouldn't go reading into each and every line that is slightly out of place. EVERYONE being titans, especially Mikasa, whose strong point is being an exceptional human would just make the series boring and less about Eren being special.

Don't even try. The art is quite sloppy at places. It may not be 'cartoony', but that doesn't mean it sometimes can't be sloppy to the point of confusion.

Either it's the artist's style, or he is just completely overworked that he rushes through some parts and needs more assistants. The cover images are much more clean and perfected (which is normal), but the line work in the manga turned me off for a long time until I got used to it (the story also helped a lot ;p )

New reader here. I finished watching the 25 anime episodes over the span of 4 days. It's crazy how the whole season is ended and you end up MORE confused than when it started. My favorite moments were when Levi showed his skills slashing up the female titan solo, without help from Mikasa. It was also exhilarating whenever Titan Eren smashed Annie, especially the part where he squeezes her head into a gory pulp. Saddest moment of the show is definitely when Petra died to the hands of Annie. Petra and the two other dudes had some cool coordinated attack going, but Annie regenerates her vision and kills all three of them. With Levi's squad, it seemed like Eren had finally found a place where he would belong, and he was just starting to fit in and getting to know his squadmates. And just like that, they are all gone.
My favorite characters are definitely Levi and Jean. Levi has the whole bad-ass captain act going, but secretly he's a compassionate guy, it also helps that his skills are second to none. Jean started off a lazy slacker but developed very heroic attributes. I also like Mikasa because she's a cutie, even though she is pretty one-dimensional and mutters Eren's name in every one of her lines. Since she's so cute it's okay if she's annoying.
Most disliked characters include Eren, who has everything handed to him and never knows what's going on. He's also the stereotypical hot-headed, stubborn, one-track-mind male character. I also hate most of the Military police and the other higher-ups, with the exception of Erwin.
Overall it was an exciting short series to watch, would definitely recommend it. I feel like Armin functions as the main narrative pretty well, since he is usually the first to piece things together and he is in touch with everything that's going on. The series takes a while to gain pace, but the last 10 or so episodes are full of action and deaths. Like all animes, the plot does get kind of weird, messy, and unrealistic. If humans were able to build the wall in the first place, why resort to plugging in the hole with some random boulder that just so appeared and happened to be the correct size? Why not just rebuild the wall?
Anyone know when we should expect the second season?

Humans didn't build the wall, it was there before, it's another one of the mysteries.

Add to that the random titan in the wall itself. Creepy as fuck

so what i got from the text in the last or so episode with the miners: the miner and his friend are annis and erens fathers, they found the stuff the giants are made off, and infected themselfs and their kids with it. so i guess the 2 big giants at the start of the anime, the extrem big one who crushes the first wall and the gray haird one that runns the second down are the fathers, since they hate the system. also the big one that broke the first wall is erens father i guess since he turnd into smoke after he jumpd at him.
am i correct?
