SIU does do the writing, story development, creating the world AND the art, which he has to pump out every week with hardly any breaks. Yes, there certainly isn't that much development per chapter, and pacing is an issue, but considering SIU's conditions, I think he does hell of a good job as a solo creator.

Plus this isn't like his job or anything, I believe he made references to being a University student a while back.

Nah it's his job. But apparently he's also having wrist problems due to not having taken a break in a while. That and when the story diverges into like 4 different subplots, it's bound to progress slowly no matter what.

Do you have a source for that? I swear in one of his blog posts he mentioned being a student, although I could be wrong.

Yeah I think it's not slow at all, he's doing a great job.

My source that it's physically impossible, especially if you're in SK and are expected to spend all your free time studying. He does mention students in his afterwords a lot, but probably just because most of his readers are students.
Also a quick google search reveals that he's 26 years old, so probably too old to be a student but not out of the question I guess. Still impossible though.
I imagine having the continuously #1 manwha on Naver is enough to give you at least a comfortable income.

Nah, but he did mention in one of his post-comic rants about how people were going to take university application exams, and mentioned how nervous he'd been when he did them a few years back.

Just read latest chapter (finally up on Batoto/The Company translation). If Androssi doesn't eventually realize Viole is Baam... that would be the stupidest plot twist/device ever.

Manga artists struggle to pump out a chapter of black and white on a weekly schedule, and that is their full time job. Now considering Tower of God is in COLOR and also on a weekly schedule, I doubt SIU does anything else for a living.

He mentions that he got assistants awhile back, plus ToG art style is simpler than a lot of manga art styles.
But yea it would be a lot of work.
