+ Show Spoiler + Maybe it's because Fluttershy and Rainbowdash aren't near the top of my favorite mane six, and there was no Rarity at all. Twilight being around helped a little, but it needed Rarity and Pinkie Pie IMO. The ending was extremely predictable and kind of ruined some of the fun of watching it happen. I had some good laugh moments, the masks on the animals were hilarious. Fluttershy's character tends to be way over the top every time she's featured, which is okay once in a while, but I feel like with everything else that's happened and all the support she has and the progress she's made in the past, this shouldn't be as common or as extreme as it is each time. Maybe it's just me, but she seems to show no character growth at all, which wears on me a little bit. Most of the other characters have shown some growth of some kind from previous episodes. | ||

Careful what you critique, I find that if I know im going to write a critique on something I spend most of the time watching the episode looking for whats " wrong" than just sitting there and enjoying the episode. I stopped writing ep critiques and eps got better due to just watching the episode for fun. I think it might be a reason a few people find season 2 isn't living up to season 1 standards, is they are just looking too hard to compare it to season 1 and not just enjoying the show for just that.. Enjoyment. ^^ But don't take this as stop writing follow-ups, follow-ups are great read and I enjoy going through them just don't overly think it.  It might just be me talking bogus non-sense after a 12 hour day at work though so xD my brain is melted but my 2 cents anyway. ^^ Definately I generally try to not pay attention to IRC and all that. It just helps me immerse myself in the world and just enjoy the show! I've had literally no issues with any episode apart from like Owl's Well Ends Well. Which was probably my least favorite  | ||

Calling all DotA players! Are you a pony enthusiast with dota2? If so, #tlponies wants YOU. We are a bunch of pony enthusiasts and being internet people, we play a lot of games. A lot of us play DotA2, often together. Lately we've been playing quite a lot of inhouse matches, but we often find ourselves lacking 1 or 2 players. Therefore, I cordially invite any and all dotards lurking this thread to participate in the ancient ritual of beating the shit out of your friends. Our matches are relaxed and casual; we usually play -ar mode. We use ventrilo for We dont have any schedule or set times for this, but around 20:00 CET things start happening, if we have the people. After episodes on saturdays are a good time, and many things happen on the weekend, unless there are other big things, such as MLG or IPL. So join us on IRC (#tlponies @ quakenet) for good times and many hooks in your face. + Show Spoiler + I got bored and made this. thoughts as they come Quite liked this episode overall, I loved Fluttershy's training montage a wallpaper with a version of that silhouette against the sun would be lovely Rainbow Dash was great in this episode, It was nice to see her being tough but not being an asshat Pegasus wings are weird I thought the horn that Spike was blowing was really cool though the sound was not quite as impressive as I hoped for :p I really like these episodes focusing on a few of the ponies and all but if there is a few more mane 6 episodes in season 3 I'll be stomping my hooves in joy. | ||

Also they made a nod towards the popularity of Wet Mane Rarity when when RD doused Fluttershy with the bucket of water... But of course i loved this episode ! How could you not ? 9/10 Find myself watching Season 1 way more than Season 2 lately, 'tho...
