Well if your watching them in chronological order, then you've seen more apple jack then the other characters. Her primary traits such as hard work are generally less interesting that the others traits. While there are a lot of people who would say applejack's straightforwardness is more enjoyable than any one of the others, such as rainbow dash's agressiveness, not many people find it more enjoyable than all of the others. So in a poll where you can only vote for one, she will be last, but if we averaged everyone's rankings, she would probably be around 4th. I like applejack, but I just like others more.

Looking back on the episodes of the season so far, I would say that the main cast has a grown a lot as a whole. I enjoyed seeing RD become less shallow when looking for a pet in her episode or to tone down the boasting in the mare-do-well episode, or rarity when learning about what it means to be a supporting family member and sister with the sister hooves episode just to name a couple examples. Maybe the lesson that Pinkie learned with her episode resonates more with your own situation that you could relate more to it? I know that when I was watching the Applejack episode with Applebucking Season, I immediately gravitated to it because I have a hard time relinquishing responsibilities to others.
I think that's a great part of having such a diverse cast because the opportunity for learning lessons becomes that much greater and you can relate to one character or another depending upon those lessons. Just my two cents. Go applejack ;D

What does that mean? Ep14 hasn't aired, are you referring to Youtube takedowns?
There are still uploads of Episode 13 up on YT. Just the one linked on EqD has been taken down. All the takedowns mean is it will be harder to introduce new people, it doesn't hinder access to streams and downloads for people motivated to see them.
Been said a million times, but I'd be completely fine with their policy if I, as a non-American, could but it legally from somewhere.

For a sec I was worried the ep 14 thing was referring to s3's 2nd half not being ordered (since only the first 13 eps were confirmed, and at the time the tone of those leaked messages seemed to indicate that they weren't going to order the 2nd half).

Well, I would argue that neither NK nor (especially) Iran fill the criteria of "nothing to lose" and "wanting to antagonise American interests". That said, the main reason is that people in power tend to like copyright and the sense of control that it gives.
Still, TPB will solve most of your problems, and there are other sites all over the web if you go looking. I would trust anything I download from any government servers about as much as I trust things I download from any other unknown filesharing site.

That's why I wrote "use it as a foreign policy negotiating tactic". It's pretty clear North Korea develop weapons so they can trade the closure of these programmes in exchange for aid money that can perpetuate their dictatorship. I'm speculating offering "illegal" hosting would be another interesting venture equivalent to that, because the political pressure on the US to respond would be worth a lot.
I'm aware there is no issue for the sufficiently determined to get hold of anything digital.

I'm sorry, but the general public'sbrony disregard for Applejack has driven me insane. I do think it speaks to the show's character depth that I can reverse what you said about AJ and apply it to Rarity. Seriously, she is a self centered brat that only ares about how she looks but I do respect your decision, and the general brony public's decision, to have such an egregiously stupid opinion 
I would list AJ's strength as,
Stellar voice acting that has far more range to it than say Pinkiepie (Who is always just positive and annoying)
She does not have any special traits inherant to other ponies (such as wings or magic) but can stand among the best of them. Unfortunately ponies like Pinkiepie rely on being jesters. AJ is no one's jester, and she can stand firm in decisions and belief that she has wrought
