New episode made Granny Smith a more interesting character than just the old grandma sitting in the background making comic relief esque jokes. Army Smith? Puppet smith? Bunnysmith? Just pure gold. Overall episode was cute. I can relate to the message personally. Zap apples were cool. Filthyrich was an interesting new background pony. Partly because it reveals that Equestrian society is a bit more complex and stratified like real life society, also because even though he is this rich, high society eque pony whose made tons of money and has a really spoiled, stuck up daughter (wat kind of special talent is a Tiara?) who still recognizes his roots. And the jokes. Worldbuilding is awesome. Nuff said. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I felt like it was only an ok episode. I glad they finally took a different direction with a CMC story arch, them failing to get their cuite marks was getting old IMO. The start of the episode was annoying because of how senile granny smith was but once all of the CMCs got involved the episode picked up again. I also enjoyed the canon tale of ponyvilles foundation and those badass timberwolves. Overall im just glad that the dry streak is over :D Also this + Show Spoiler + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/5g6bT.png) reminds me of how totalitarian leaders would indoctrinate school children with propaganda and leaders portraits in the classrooms. Pretty nice episode, theres no doubt alot of stuff for the artists to use here :p I wasnt expecting much from the synopsis so i was quite pleasantly suprised with how it went yay ponies! | ||

I liked the episode, CMC are always fun to have, and world building is nice. Plus, Timberwolves and magic apples! Not the best episode, and I need a pinkie pie and/or fluttershy fix, but overall it was a fun episode. | ||
