My favorite episode of Top Gear was when they took on the hosts of a German Top Gear show in a bunch of weird challenges. In the last challenge The Stig made an awesome comeback in a race against another professional driver and won it for the Brits. Even though I know it was probably staged I really felt that The Stig reached superhero status in that episode. When they replaced The Stig once of the first episodes they did was a similar match but this time against Australia. They set it up so that the new Stig would make the same comeback in the final race I guess to win over our affection for the new Stig. It felt so manufactured like they could just fire a guy and manipulate us to love his replacement after just 2 episodes. For me Ben Collins was The Stig even though I didn't know he was The Stig until he wasn't The Stig.. if that makes any sense..
He dicked himself as far as I'm concerned. Broke his contract just make a few bucks, pssh.
Can't wait for season 17 though, watched seasons 1 to 16 so many times it's almost like the Simpsons for me now haha.

Didn't he write a book in which he disclosed that he is The Stig? He certainly didn't expect to continue on the job with this. :C
I have a lot of favorite episodes, but if I had to choose one, it would be Bolivia. It was an amazing trip and in HD, the Bolivian and Chilean scenery was just stunningly beautiful. And soooo many favorite lines.

Bernie is a star
can't wait for the next season!
Best bit was Christian Horners comment to Hammond at the end of it "Well done, my grandmother would be proud".
hahaha as much as I hate Red Bull Christian Horner comes off as a good lad
My friend got me into the show recently and I have to say it's really good. We've been watching older episodes though, haven't cought up yet heh.
Watched one where they were testing a raly type of car, and one of the guys had to do a race from a mountain pass to the bottom vs 2 expert skiers. He goes "they don't speak much english but luckily I speak some french" and tries to talk to them, which is translated into him saying "i am driving that car, it's blue and gross, i have many rabbits in my trousers" Such an amazing scene, I loved that. Any of you guys seen that episode? I think it's from a few years ago.
Jeremy celebrates the 50th Birthday of the Jaguar E-type by driving the modern one, Richard is in South Africa to test a bigger, even more rugged alternative to the famous Hummer, James meets up with Gold Medal Winner Amy Williams and races her in the new Mini Rally Car

For other people who have seen every episode: What do you think the best series/season was overall? My vote goes to season 10. Pretty much every episode was awesome.
