Also Clarkson May and Hammond were all in negotiations for new 3 and half year deals before this happened so it be even more interesting to see if any of them sign up ^_^

I add the question mark because I am talking out of my ass, but the US is 330 million, very diverse groups in terms of just about everything. It can't just be that everything is so niche in terms of audience, I mean you have as many channels as we do presumably.

If anything the us seems to be the strange one. Well the US is the odd one out completely, I am just a bit surprised that the viewership isn't more split up from what you two are telling me. As far as ratings were concerned, I had just imagined that it would extrapolate to the broader TV audiences in that more channels, and increasingly specialized areas of interest would have translated to a similar dispersal of views in any given market. Rather naive when you put it that way, but I learn something new every day.

Jezza is top gear. As evident by any similar shows, including the international versions of Top Gear, that just doesn't get right. Both May and Hammond have stated this several times as well. Without him, there's not point in continuing the show.

I never watched anything live for past 4 years lol. Guessing that could be a reason for the viewing figures for shows in US? Or has it always been like that?

Mayhaps, networks still use the Nielson ratings which are woefully outdated. I don't think anyone has the complete metrics sorted for aggregating streamers.
