There would likely be contractual agreements that would be violated as well as tofucake indicated, not to mention the BBC could make a case that Clarkson would be using the same premise for which he sold the rights to them. Seems to me that BBC owns the show out right, would hard to do a show about cars in the UK as Clarkson period without treading on very shaky legal ground. Seems like the IP is completely out of his court, and saying another motoring show with the trio was completely unrelated is a bit of a stretch. | ||
