They didnt really review the cars enough, the LFA was the best car ever according to Clarkson but he didnt really go into why. The fighter plane bit was a little too long I think but ok. The 55mph joke was kinda funny and the cinematography was great.
The thing is is that they've had the LFA on the show about 5 times already, and they have gone into it before.

Have they? I can only remember Hammond testing it, and in this episode. They also had it once in the worst car special.

Jeremy did go into it a little at that point, and he had discussed the car before
Top Gear Season 19 Episode 3: February 10, 2013 Cars:
The Team engage in a race from Wembley to the San Siro stadium in Milan, with Jeremy in a Shelby Mustang GT500 while Richard and James using the pan-European rail network. • Jeremy is out on the test track in the new Toyota GT86.

I'd love to see them do a segment of the 86 vs some competitors and have a "cheap" car segment for once.
Maybe because I own a 2013 genesis and just want to see them make fun of hyundai :D
You can get tickets to view them making their show live for the low low sum of zero money. There is like a year waiting list at this point though. The only rule they have is that the audience needs to be 50-50 male/female (this because in the earlier show the audience would be completely male dominated). So now people bring their girlfriends with them, who gets pushed forward to the stage when they do the news
Just realized there's a Top Gear thread. Love this show. I watched all the youtube clips before I actually bought a Netflix subscription and now I'm starting to watch the full episodes. Easily one of my fav shows of all time.
Gotta say my fav bit is still them buying cars at the auction for the classic time rally in Majorca.
And I'm still waiting for them to review my new car, the Honda CR-Z. Considering how much Clarkson likes hot-hatches I figured he'd look forward to reviewing the first hybrid with a 6-speed.
ohh next episode could be fun, i did want to see what tg says about the 86. will they show some hachiroku to compare with? drift around the track? initial d style sound track? :D and hammond will jizz himself with the shelby
From what they mentioned already in the worst car in the world doc from last november I will assume they will say good things about it. Getting tired of how over hyped it and the BRZ/FRS were.
I'm actually curious if the 86 has a much better interior since its euro/jap version. The FRS has an utterly terrible interior full of loose clunky plasticy bits and I know how much euros hate plastic trim.
I have to say this just has to be the best episode ever due to the fact, the challenge had my favorite car ever! Shelby GT500!!! I've always wanted one, and wow, so quick and looks so nice. Defo will be getting one soon, even though it does 14MPG!! And has a 50litre tank!
Also, thank you Tofu! I was thinking when i watched that, someone make a gif of Clarkson smiling.
Was trying to convince my best man to sell his bmw z4 and get a toyota (he told me anyways he likes that idea) but now he tells me he shall make money and get also the toyota. wow.
