LF dieing was unexpected. And oh Jon is not Jon. I didn't see that coming. At least, closure is coming. Be it in 2018 and 2019. HBO is canon for me now :D

The one thing that stings, to me, is the fact that the Others are seemingly able to get past the Wall only because of what has to be the most stupid plan in Westeros history. No zombie-napping, no dragon. No dragon, no Wall coming down. Even if the Night King turns out to be a greenseer, I still find it very weak.

So far she seems like an intriguing character in the books - Victarion: Cool character. The Greyjoy story feels kinda hamfisted into the endgame for GoT, having the Euron vs Victation dynamic as early as season 5 might've helped develop the Ironborn a tad more. - LSH: Because I wanted everyone to shit themselves at the end of season 4 :p

Well we have a dragonbinder horn in the books, who knows what happens with that in the long run

Cersei and Tyrion are the two that bother me the most. Why has Tyrion become so stupid all of a sudden? I'm having real trouble thinking of instances where he gave Dany good advice as her hand that she acted upon in the past season. What exactly has he been right about recently? As for Cersei, I distinctly remember her descending into madness in AFfC. It makes no sense why she has suddenly become so astute at playing the game. He is the dude who fell in love and was betrayed by a whore. He is clever, but not always right. A lot of the characters are like this, where we as fans build up this legend about how smart they are, but the reality of the character is that they deeply human. The show writers did the best thing possible cutting that garbage character.

Which is why the poster you quoted mentioned that Tyrion probably didn't give a single smart advice the whole season. (not sure i agree but that was the point). You cannot "counter" that with your statement.

You cannot "counter" that with your statement. Don't burn kingslanding to the ground has been some pretty choice advice. Work with Jon and give him dragon glass paid off. She got a valuable ally by not demanding he bend the knee right away.
