The wall being too high. He simply had no reference to how freaking high the wall would be. There is the story when they were touring cliffs in Ireland I believe, and someone told him hey, those cliffs are 200 feet high. And he thought, oh. I must have made the Wall too tall with 700ft ... 2. The ages of all the young characters. His initial plan was to have a 5-10 year gap in the story after a trilogy I believe, so he wrote all the children to be early twenties when the action would pick up. But he never got the gap to work which gave us 15yos being in charge all around. 3. The distances. Westeros being the size of LA makes zero sense. Think of the population! Even the Reach would be completely deserted emptiness with maybe 3,4 mio people spread over the size of half of Europe. Most of the country would be completely empty. Not sure 3. would be such a big problem, you can't compare today's population density with historic, rural societies. The densest in all of Europe in the 1700s was London, and even back then it had less than ten per cent of the population it has now. 3.4 million people spread across half of Europe isn't too bad. I am not comparing to today's but to 1000AD Europe, which depending on which estimate you believe already had a population of 100 mio people. The Roman Empire, which was smaller in land size by a loooooot commanded between 50 and 70 mio people at its greatest extent. A few million spread over that vast a country would just never work. Well, unless there is a few populated areas and the rest is just abandonded emptiness. But then again why even make it such a big world if it's all empty.

So if Bran Could manipulate time this makes the Bran did everything theory even more likely as maybe he was the voices in the Mad king's head.

Why did the old tree-guy bring Bran to Winterfell ? Did he knew what will happen to Hodor? If he did then does it mean it's possible to see the future? Why did Bran's consciousness split in two? I mean he was controlling Hodor and watching Wylis turn into Hodor simultaneously. I'm worried they only teased us with the ToJ mystery and it won't be revealed in this season. That would be a sick move from the writers. It's possible he was a time-travelling future bran + Show Spoiler + lol

![]() I read a lot of people saying the actor is great, and just as many people complaining about him. I personally don't care, just a funny observation.

Some people are saying Bran made the Mad King mad. It sounds believable but I don't want it to happen.

I loved the Hodor scene, but the context was bad. The siege was so over the top and Hollywood dramatic + a ton of characters already sacrificed themselves for Bran (children, blood Raven, summer). Not to mention a white Walker died. I thought that cheapened the moment a bit. Something more grounded that lead up to the Hodor scene would have been way better I think. I feel like this is the first moment I really wish I had read first before seeing.

She could also be the show's Aurane Waters, but that would be a little anti-climatic and probably isn't leading anywhere. It seems liek Theon + Theon's sister will be Victarion. Any sort of plot about Victarion interacting with Dany will probably be done by Theon, but Asha will handle all of the leading.
