Literally best part of the episode was the one Aliser quote (a character I can easily say that show version is much better than book), and Doran's part too.

But imo the show didn't execute it all that well, it should leave a huge impact on Stannis, it should change him. He should realize there is no other way, etc The show did all of this on the surface, but in the end we only got around 10 mins to portray it, which just didn't work for me at all.

The only way it would've worked is if they had built this up over the entire season. There's no way they could do it in one episode.

Imagine if one of the protagonists had pulled this against an army. How absolutely ludicrous it would have been. The closest it's ever gotten was the infiltration of Mereen, and that involved freeing hundreds of fighting pit slaves to do the shit for them. And, I suppose, the Yara/Dreadfort scene. Except she lost miserably and it was still stupid.

Robb outnumbered Jaime 10:1, if you were paying attention to the previous episode. You know, the part where he sacrificed a tenth of his army and married a Frey to screw Tywin over. Correction: From the books, over 10:1. Not sure about the show.

I must have been thinking of another one.
