Juggling all the different character POVs that meet in Mereen etc. But Dany's epiphany in her last chapter together with what happened in Mereen after her departure paved the way for a rather quick solution to finish the mereen plot arc. The characters are where they are supposed to be and everything is set up. If you mean she'll just dump Meereen by the wayside and hop back to Westeros with Victarion, it seems horribly ooc.

I feel like she has become more and more disconnected with the Meereenese as the story has gone on. She continues to publicly show that she will not abandon her children but her private thoughts and ambitions appear to be focused more and more on taking back her rightful throne.

Then no slaver troops are left to threaten, she can leave someone she trusts in charge of the city and leave the mercenaries to guard them and take her Unsullied and Dragons and start going towards Westeros. Will that be by sea with Victaron or will she move towards Volantis and sack that city as well we will see. Also Tyrion having his own mercenaries is going to play a part. As for other two dragons, Dany now controls the biggest and strongest of them and the other two will follow them for sure until she can find riders for them. I actually thought the 30,000 dothraki were going to take her captive and Drogo would come and rescue her by burning all of them to a crisp. But she might indeed control that army. Don't discount the horn for controlling dragons that Victarion is bringing... he may very well become a dragonrider by force. I really don't see everything going so easily for Daenerys. Although the two dragons being free and wreaking havoc (and burning tristan to a crisp, yay!) is certainly a good thing.

Lol no, those few dothraki cannot stop her or the dragon and other 29 990 cannot fly :D So they either join her or ignore her. I would bet join because with her they can defeat armies they could not alone and sack cities they could not otherwise, although they will not go with her to Westeros (and I am sure she would not like them to). And we don't know what the Horn does, nobody does. Euron said it controls dragons but it might not do that. Actually since it kills the one blowing in it I don't see how can anyone control a dragon that is dead. My guess would be they try to use it and fail and then she takes it from them and as she is kind of resistant to fire or something she can use it without dying. Maybe the horn calls dragons from far away. She might even use it to force other 2 dragons to follow her. And since she is probably the Azor Ahai reborn I don't see how she will fail or die. At least not until the last battle with Others. She she cannot have children and the other Targaryan has a better claim to the throne she might sacrifice herself to destroy the Others.

Anyway to me the horn is a quick fix for GRRM. An easy way to get the dragons controllable. Same with the Iron Fleet heading to Meeren, another quick fix solution to getting Dany's massive army and dragons back to Westeros.

The horn reads "I am Dragonbinder" "No mortal man shall sound me and live" "Blood for fire, Fire for Blood". Moqorro tells Victarion that he needs to make the horn his, that he must claim it with blood. I think its pretty obvious though that this horn is meant for Dany. Maybe it is some sort of ancient family relic or something because it has the Targaryen words right on it. Anyway to me the horn is a quick fix for GRRM. An easy way to get the dragons controllable. GRRM loves his quick fixes once he lets the story get away from him a bit. Which is too bad because it makes the book much less enjoyable.

In regards to that horn... I have a feeling Dany might use it, but also that it either might not work out as foreshadowed or even stolen by Aegon and used later on to backstab her.

GRRM is kinda leading us down a straightforward path with the horn. Maybe too straight forward... I wouldn't be surprised if there was a twist with it. I don't see how else she could get the dragons trained though, unless maybe Tyrion could do it!?! Btw I'm pretty stoked on Dany and Tyrion finally meeting up next book, Ive been waiting for it ever since the prophecy. I thought it was going to happen this book but GRRM had to leave another cliffhanger. Still a lot to be sorted out with the whole "Meerenese knot" I wouldn't doubt if its half the next book. Im just hoping that Penny dies while its sorting itself out.
