I hope they're closer to the Avatar side of the spectrum. They don't have to be uber like Avatar but dear god don't let them be like 1980s CGI. It probably won't even be gollum-level, given what they've shown so far (unless they've been pooling all their resources to get the dragons right) I wouldn't be surprised if the dragon hatchlings are puppets, actually.

I'm alright with only showing the build up and aftermath of battles, but I really hope we at least see Dany holding one of the dragons, if not all of them.

As far as dragons; there's been so many CGI dragons made that I'm sure that it's not very expensive by now to do it properly. I'm sure that they can buy a "template" from someone and then tweak it instead of building them from the ground up.

They could easily just end the season with the eggs cracking, without actually revealing the dragons. Though if they did that, I think a lot of people would be really pissed off. i could almost see this happening but it's just way too much of a tease to do something like that. they've got to show dragons, though it could just be for a mere split second

The season finale will not be remotely as cool if they don't.

Also, I'm very curious to see where Jaime will come into the story in the future, because after the inevitable downfall of House Lannister, I don't really know what/where he's supposed to go. If Cersei confesses about the incest, Tommen will be removed from the throne, Stannis will take it, and Jaime will at the very least have to enter exile. If that is the case, I can see Jaime going to try to join Dany and Tyrion. I realize the issues that would cause w/ Dany, him being the Kingslayer and all, but Dany has been shown to be very forgiving. The question is, would she be able to forgive Jaime for killing Aerys (?) knowing Jaime's full reasons for why (Barristan Selmy would also help Jaime's cause in this, because he's told Dany before that her father actually WAS mad.) Also, when Dany DOES descend upon Westeros, do you think Stannis would be willing to side with her? She technically is the rightful heir to the throne, and with the looming threat of the Others it would seem the best thing to do would be to put aside all differences.

There were not enough Arya chapters, and far too many Dorne/Brienne chapters. Right now it just feels like the Dornish aren't really ever going to play a big role in the series, because of how many people actually ARE trying to get "in" with Dany. You've got the Greyjoys, the Dornish, and then Tyrion falls in there, and it's also inevitable that Jon and Dany meet as well, which may end up kindling some sort of fire. Why doesn't anyone like Brienne, I thought she was a lot better then some of the main characters, and this whole possible Jaime-Brienne relationship area is rather interesting. I hope Jaime doesn't get cast out of the story. I'm liking him a lot more. Somehow I don't see him ending up with Dany. IMO House Lannister still has a ways to go. The Tyrells are so spread out and Mace is such a terrible military commander that I could see the Lannisters taking them out. And I bet Dany does some shit in the Free Cities before she finally hits Westeros (probably book 6ish). I honestly don't think Stannis and her will get a long either, if they even meet. I have a feeling he's not going to beat the Others. At which case Jon (obviously being Rhaegar's son yadada) will join with Dany and they'll fight the Others in an ultimate climax of Ice and Fire. Rhillor or whatever his name is, is the God of Light, not fire. And I've never really gotten a vibe that he's actually the good guy. I mean, what good god demands sacrifices etc.

I don't really remember, but I think that if they're going to do that scene justice, they have to show some kind of interaction with the actress. But yeah, they'll probably show as little of them as possible On June 19 2011 10:29 motbob wrote: My dream for the dragons is Jim Henson-style animatronics ![]() considering what you can do with good camera work and high quality animatronics with CG touch-up, animatronics would probably be a really good way to go. I also want The Dark Crystal - the tv series...

I don't think the Kingslayer is going to join the woman whose family he betrayed and slaughtered. Nor do I think a freaking Baratheon is going to join the Targaryens. Those are the first two names any Targaryen is going to be looking to execute. Lol I think you're definitely barking up the wrong tree here with the whole Daenerys forgiveness thing. She's no fool.

Eh, I don't know, aside from the whole incest thing and throwing Bran out the window, nothing Jaime has really done has been overtly bad. Sure he killed the king, but that was all for a good reason (imo) and it seems like everything bad he's done has been for love, or to fulfill the huge expectations that his father has set for him. Also, Jaime has always been "kind" to his brother as far as I can tell (aside from the Tysha ordeal, but again that was more his fathers doing) and I think that Tyrion could do good things for Jaime when it comes to dealing with Dany. Dany is level-headed and she's never really been quick to make judgement of people.
