But as this whole thing was filmed in Dubrovnik (that is at the coast) there was no river there to do it like in the book. with filmmaking, you don't need the geography of the location to match what you want the final result to be. It's called editing. And yes, they should've included the river and all that. Blackwater should obviously have been a 2 episode thing. It's a gigantic shame they didn't get 12 episodes for this season.. I mean, I liked this episode, but because of how HBO doesn't want to put more money into this, everything becomes a much less fleshed out version of what it was in the book. QQ

Theres no way I would skip book 2 and go right to 3. You'll have no idea who a bunch of the characters are haha. Maybe 1 you could get away with, but I would read 1 for the Ned, Tyrion and Jon chapters. And to the guy that says he wants to see the fight on the Fist of the First Men. That doesn't happen until the third book.

The last song on the season 2 sound track is titled "3 blasts". We also hear 3 blasts at the end of the cold winds teaser trailer. Speculation is that the season will end on a cliffhanger right after the guys on the fist hear the horn.

That doesn't happen until the third book. Dont forget that they doesnt exactly hold the borders between the books, we also get the first Jamie chapter in book 3 after he was freed by Catelyn and thats already happened in the series. And also, the attack of the Fist would sell better for a season ending than for a season beginning imo, but I know nothing about what will come in the next ep. Arya also need to meet with Jaquen at least once more, to have the coin and the instructions, and probably also gonna see as Jon kills Qhorin.

But the Rains of Castamere at the ending was awesome. It is dark, gloomy, and that totally fits with how I imagine the Red Wedding. The version linked on the previous page sounds much more light-hearted.

- It could be Cersei or Joffrey, who both command the King's Guard and have a legitimate beef with Tyrion. - It could also have been Tywin's idea, which would get rid of Tyrion in battle and let his death be honorable, while ridding the Lannisters of a source of embarrasment. He tried to do the same in the Vanguard with the mountain clans. - It could be LF, who also has issues with Tyrion (for one, LF knows that Tyrion knows that LF framed Tyrion and lied about the knife to Cat which got him captured and thrown in a sky cell). The only "hints" or evidence is the fact than Mandon Moore is from the Vale, and LF has influence there. - It could also be Moore acting on his own, because Tyrion was responsible for the death of Ser Vardis Egen, or if he hated how Tyrion was undermining Joffrey and Cersei. It was never said one way or the other, but there are many possible answers. Personally I think it was Joffrey behind it, because otherwise we would have probably seen mentions of it from Cersei's POV, or Littlefinger telling Sansa.
