Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

As far as his decision not to kill him - The monk should have killed Morgan, but didn't and Morgan turned his life around. This is Morgan's chance to live up to the spirit of the monk and turn someone else's life around. The only part I didnt like was the fact that the monk could have just killed the zombie instead of trying to move Morgan away from the zombie. I kinda wish he was still alive - he was a cool character. Without stupid characters making random stupid decisions there would be no horror movie/series ever. Everything bad happening in any of those movies 100% comes from the astounding illogical stupidity of someone. I'm pretty sure that it's exactly what would happen in real life too

Good lord the actress who plays Jessie seems to be really annoying.
|
Fuck they are trying so hard to make every second be so "profound", it's just slow and lame ... move the goddamn story along.
|
They can't because they've skipped more than enough and also
A) The Writers aren't really good at exploring side characters or any other characters other than the main survivor group and even then just a few of those.
B) AMC is cheap and gives them a limited budget.
C) They have no idea what to do they are still early in the Alexandria area and can't really think of anything other than annoying filler which goes back to the first two points.
|
It's another filler episode? I'm downloading slowly.
|
well, that was as boring as boring can get... lol

Even with VLC player set at Faster x 2 I still had to scroll through several scenes in that episode with my mouse. God that was boring.

I finally watched the Morgan episode from last week: + Show Spoiler + Holy shit, that was the dumbest episode of TWD I've ever seen. I'm not even exaggerating. So Morgan finds overweight beergut Aikido-Jesus (who probably took exactly one Aikido class; also, Aikido as a martial art is nonsense), and after 45 minutes of walking and talking, they sit down and talk, and just as Aikido-Jesus' story gets to the pivotal moment...he forgets the fucking conversation. BUT HERE'S MORE POINTLESS EXPOSITION. Also, goats can open prison cells, apparently. Me and my friends just could not stop laughing through 90 percent of this episode, it was awful.
Last night's was aight, though. A lot of speeches, but that's par for the course.

Last night episode for me was the worst episode ever of TWD, I just really believe that the writing is not good if the dont go very aligned with the comics (it means the development of the main characters), this series is turning into a slow and painful death for the viewer.

You have to be fucking kidding me... Perfect casting pick but please don't be this season...

still better than fear the walking dead

"Worst episode ever of TWD" ? Come on, you could find like a dozen of worse episodes in seasons 2, 3 and 4.
|
We've been on the same day for 4 episodes now. The first two were alright but now it's back to the "nothing happens" dead. There are three episodes left now. I just want this season to be over. They've been dicking around inside Alexandria for way too long now. It's gotten to the point at which characters have to blow through constant monologues just to get through the day. There's only so many ways you can say "we need to remain hopeful" before you start repeating yourself.
This needs to end already. We need... Him.

And a good 90% of those has been called "best episode ever". This kind of pattern exists in pretty much all TV show thread, but not as extreme as this one

to be fair I think the reason people are starting to get tired of this is because of the build up to the last two episodes. I know I want to see what is going to happen next The episodes on their own aren't that bad though, but its not what I really want to see right now so I tend to not care as much. I liked the episode about Morgan though, I thought it was good

Do we know approximately how long its been from the beginning of TWD to this point at Alexandria? I'm just curious because we haven't seen a winter yet have we? I know it's Georgia but still it does get cold there.
