Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Unfortunately some of the bad actors have not been killed off yet so I guess I am stuck with them. Hopefully the writing improves this season at least.

I totally agree with this. The ridiculous actions and absurd dialogue in this show are more far-fetched than the zombie apocalypse itself.

As as side note, it's pretty amazing AMC is basic cable. Breaking Bad and Mad Men are easily some of the best shows ever created.

Hope they focus on the good parts of the show, like dressing up in zombie guts.

Im sure the show is the way they wanted it to be portrayed, and I kindof liked the acting myself ^.^ There are so many things wrong with this post... The comic is anything but cliche. I can't really prove that to you since I'd be spoiling it completely, and the show. However, since everything and anything is a tvtrope nowadays, everything is cliche... Of course the show is how they want it to be portrayed. They're part of the team. But they also said in one of the recent-ish comics that they don't intend for either to take anything away from each other. The acting in the first season was very sub-par. It was forgiven because the show has such an interesting premise and gave a lot of room for potential growth. Plus, people just universally agreed it was shit because no one expected it to explode like it has.

Hope they focus on the good parts of the show, like dressing up in zombie guts. The problem was the first episode was a shit ton higher quality than the rest of season 1. It was still great and I'm hyped for season 2, but I think the problem stemmed from the first episode being directed by legendary film director Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) whereas the rest weren't.

I have really high hopes for this season just because it's such a good zombie show and the potential for this season is amazing when you look at how well they did the first 2-hr episode. Later episodes get a lot more criticism, but I still really enjoyed them because there's nothing like this show on TV right now. The setting is just amazing even if the acting isn't perfect. Less than 20 hours now, get pumped!

+ Show Spoiler + Did anyone else facepalm when the cop dude found that abandoned house, went in to scavenge and, instead of finding the keys to the truck in the front, proceeded to take the horse tied in the back? THE HORSE? OVER A CAR? IN A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE?? *Edit AND THEN HE RODE IT STRAIGHT INTO THE HEART OF THE CITY!

THE HORSE? OVER A CAR? IN A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE?? *Edit AND THEN HE RODE IT STRAIGHT INTO THE HEART OF THE CITY! Are you kidding me? Did you not see him look and not find the key? Also, retarded people? Do you get to choose who survives? People who survive survived because of luck, not because they're smarter than everyone else. And yes people can make stupid decisions, even though I don't see how you got that idea from that scene. Why watch a show where everyone makes perfect decisions all the time? And, "retarded"? Why not, dumb? And as a side note, no one facepalmed from any of those scenes. He has no car or gas, so a horse would be the next best choice. And he was told that the city was where there was shelter. Why else wouldn't he go into the city. I'm pretty sure you did not watch this properly. Season 2! So excited.
